Hispano-American and English artists have a date for a day of artistic and cultural exchange, which will feature various arts from story-telling to Flamenco. It is happening in London on August 27th.

The Hispano-American Literary Cabaret will return to bring together Spanish and Latino artists who will have an opportunity to get to know each others’ artistic creations in a number of different fields.
And this 3rd event is breaking with language barriers to put on a bilingual exchange, so as to extend its appeal to a wider audience beyond Spanish speakers.
It will also be an opportunity to create a common space of cultural exchange for British and Latino audiences.
This will be the first time that British artists have taken part and been able to bring something of their local culture to the event.
So the city which is welcoming the artists and hosting the event will also be able to take part in the artistic exchange – which will include theatre, poetry and music amongst other forms of art.

This coming-together of the distinct cultures of London and Latin America is not something new, to judge by the constantly growing interest among people in London, in learning the Spanish language and also in getting to know more about Latino culture.
An example of this is the great popularity of the courses and activities of the event organisers Battersea Spanish.
They are an educational institution promoting Latin-American culture through language teaching, cinema, literature and other cultural activities.
They have attracted English speaking people who feel drawn to the language and culture of Spain and Latin American countries.
Among other groups contributing to the organising are El Ojo de la Cultura-Hispanoamericana, The Cat’s Back and Wandsworth Radio.
