Well, since episode 1 of Scream season 2 just aired and since I called Piper being the killer for Season 1 episode I’m gonna tell you who the killer is for Season 2.
It’s Emma.
They made it way too obvious this season. Damn it man.
@xxdivine-chaosxx
1. When Jake was brought in there was a message on the wall that mentioned “Boy Interrupted” and if you remember correctly, Jake called Emma “Girl Interrupted” earlier when she just arrived… It’s funny because in the film “Girl Interrupted” Angelina Jolie’s character has a split personality, she’s nice but she inflicts pain on the patients with no problem.
2. Emma keeps having flashes of doing terrible things when she was a child, but she also has flashes of going to the barn as an adult that she can’t remember. Emma said she can remember being scared of that barn when she was a kid, meaning the flash of when she was a child was real- so most likely the flash of herself going into the barn as an adult was also real.
3. When Piper was killed, Emma and her mom most likely inherited all of Piper’s things because they were the only family she had. That’s probably where she found Audrey’s letters to Piper, this is probably when she had a psychotic break and started resenting Audrey- even subconsciously blaming her for making her kill Piper. She was her sister after all.
4. The fact that Emma woke up with Kieran on the couch means something happened while Emma was asleep that scared the shit out of Kieran- either that OR Emma disappeared and Kieran slept on the couch.
It’s really THAT obvious. Also, she had an accomplice- you can see in the previews that she’s kissing someone with a scream mask.
This! But..
1. There were only the ‘Lakewood Six’ at Emma’s welcome home party where Jake calls Emma ‘Girl Interrupted’, nobody else would’ve heard it unless they did some serious lurking. Which means - the killer (or accomplice) is there. We already know Audrey and Piper were close - did she kill Jake? If so, why? I don’t think Emma killed Jake - I think it was Audrey.
2. Not too sure about this theory - I think there’s more of a freudian theory behind this one; she sees the guts spilling out and her playing with it as a child. Think about Emma in the first season; she was this naive, nice little girl - until the killings started happening (losing her innocence). She saw Clark die right in front of her - his guts spilling out. I think her seeing herself as a child and the guts spilling out ties to Season 1 and what she saw with Clark. She has nightmares because she’s lost her innocence, she is no longer a “pure” person anymore.
Edit: When Emma’s mom approaches her in the morning after she’s slept at Kieran’s, her mom says that it’s not usual of Emma to lie - and what does Emma respond with? ‘Well, things have changed’, she’s no longer honest (”pure”), she’s lying now.
3. Yes, yes, yes! Can you imagine how fucking livid you’d be if you found out the person who was tormenting you and killing those you cared about had close ties with someone you trusted? Fuck that! I’d want to torment that person right back, give them a taste of their own medicine. Emma definitely resents Audrey - or, she will real soon within this season.
4. I think Emma sleep-talked (??), and must’ve said something in relation to Kieran that woke him up and he was just over it. Why else would he be so cold? Maybe she outted herself and didn’t even realize it.
1. I think Audrey stopped the whole “mask-killer” thing after Piper died, Piper almost outted her to her best friend and now someone is blackmailing her because she WAS the “masked killer” she has no reason to do it anymore. If I had to guess, the accomplice and Jake’s killer is the new guy. I’m actually assuming the accomplice is that creepy new guy that had a photo of Emma on his laptop all bloody because A. It means he knows what she looks like before even meeting her. B. He knows what she did to Piper C. He has an obvious obsession with Emma, and an affiliation with horror movies that have a slow burn- meaning he likes to make things last on a cliffhanger. He sounds mentally unstable which means there’s a good possibility he and Emma met at the mental hospital and hatched a plan.
2. It could be Freudian, it could be that she has a split personality that she doesn’t know about trying to bubble right under the surface… The fact that Emma said she actually knows the place where Jake was kidnapped at makes it look like it wasn’t a coincidence she had that dream there.
3. I honestly do think she secretly resents Audrey and that’s going to come into play later in the season… Finding out your best friend betrayed you is one thing, it’s another thing when they help/make you kill your own sister and knowing it was them.
4. Also the fact that Emma said over and over how she didn’t listen to the podcast made it seem like she 100% DID LISTEN TO THE PODCAST. Like she said it 4:5 different times? Like a nervous amount?
5. Something deeeeefinitely happened that night that freaked him the fuck out. So Emma 100% has something going on that we don’t know about, and it is DARK.
