LCCIT will partner with HealthFair to provide advanced cardiovascular health screenings to employees of their member Parishes as part of their wellness program. HealthFair, a leader in health and wellness services, provides affordable screenings ranging from advanced technology mammography, basic biometrics and advanced cardiovascular screenings to help with the early detection of disease.

To develop our wellness initiatives, we must measure our employees’ health on a regular basis. To accomplish this, we are offering a wellness screening to covered employees over the age of 30, while you’re at work and paid for in full by the Trust. Healthy employees are happy employees,” states Diane Meaux Broussard, Clerk of Court, Vermillion Parish, President, Louisiana Clerks of Court Association and Louisiana Clerks of Court Insurance Trust
All LCCIT members and spouses will have easy access on the mobile health center to advanced cardiovascular screenings. Employees of participating Parishes will receive these tests for free and spouses of employees will have a chance to attend at a reduced cost. They will also be educated on risk factors and disease information.
The advanced cardiovascular package will be offered, which includes echocardiogram, electrocardiogram, hardening of the arteries test, stroke/carotid artery ultrasound, abdominal aortic aneurysm ultrasound, peripheral arterial disease test and Know Your Number® (a personalized, comprehensive 5-year health risk assessment).
All results will be read by HealthFair’s board-certified physicians and participants will receive a mailed copy. Copies can also be mailed to their primary care physician, if they choose.
The HealthFair mobile health center will spend 30 days traveling Louisiana in September and October to provide these corporate wellness screenings.
