Perhaps no artist is as influential, or as representative of the 1960s, as Andy Warhol. His paintings, sculpture, and films, as well as his legacy, continue to impact artists long after his untimely death in 1987. This class, featuring gallery talks and contextual PowerPoint talks, looks back to the heyday of Warhol’s Factory, and to other contemporary approaches to art that continue to resonate today.
