What a week for beautiful makeovers, inspiring home DIY and whimsy!
RPK Interiors shared this stunning buffet. Oh. My. Robin is an amazing master of mixing paints and this one didn’t disappoint. A combo of General Finishes Persian Blue and Annie Sloan Louis Blue created this gorgeous color.
Seeking Lavender Lane constructed and installed a barn door for their master bedroom. It replaced their horrible (her words!) standard closet door and looks great. Hop over for the materials and general how-to DIY info on this project.
Kat from Touch the Wood, Shabby Chic Furniture Restoration shares a tutorial on how to transfer big and complex print with water slide decals – whew! Well worth the effort if you can come close to creating this!The Painted Apron gave us a tour of her new baby boy’s Nautical Themed Nursery. It made me nostalgic for when my kids were babies! Such a sweet room!Farmhouse Blues Interiors created a fabulous piece with Country Chic paint and glass pulls. A huge transformation from its previous life as a very dark dresser – Love!
And, now for the whimsy! These toadstools made from terracotta pots by Pretty Shabby UK are just darling. I need to make a few for my garden!
