The Facial Herbal Kit is a five step process that begins with a powerful herbal steam. After heating and steeping the herbs, you place your face directly over a bowl with a towel draped over your head for five to ten minutes. The experience is simply luxuriating! I was able to breathe deeply, relax and mediate. I enjoyed this experience so much that I plan to incorporate this in my skin care regimen. It’s an effective way to open up your pores. You can soak in a herbal bath while the clay mask absorbs toxins and deep clean those open pores. Finish off the experience with a couple of spritz of Rosemary Hydrosol for energetic stimulation.

Thoughts About Mountain Rose Herbs…
With a large family to care for, purchasing in bulk is the way for me to go. You get so much more in return for your money. The sticker price, I think, scares a lot of people, but calculating how much you spend per month on certain items, typically shows that buying in bulk makes more sense. This is where Mountain Rose Herbs, a company that sells, organic herbs, butters and more in bulk, makes me a very happy momma!
I’ve been a long-time customer of Mountain Rose Herbs and have purchased their raw Shea Butter, Rhassoul clay, beeswax and the like, to create my own body care products. I no longer do this since my youngest and business have been born, but I still purchase my “need” items such as Elderberry, for my homemade Elderberry Syrup.
I also get my Comfrey from them. Comfrey is an awesome herb that aids in bruises, sore strained muscles and more. I infuse my Comfrey with Olive Oil for a massage oil. I use the oil for dental care too! Mixing a bit of Comfrey and Virgin Coconut Oil and for an oil pull. You can make fabulous poultices with comfrey as well.
On my MRH wish list is powered Stevia! I’m trying to move away from sugar, even if it’s raw and unrefined. And lately, I’ve been researching about Stevia. Not surprisingly, I’ve found mixed information about the herb. I’m confident, based on reputable information that Stevia is a solid, herb if processed without chemicals, so I’ve been looking for a powdered form of Stevia as a WHOLE plant. Guess where I found it… You get 4 ounces of Stevia Leaf Powder for $5.00. This, folks, is why I’m a fan! Word to the wise…when purchasing extracts or essentials of herbs, it’s important to research the manufacturing process of the company. MRH’s essential oils, by the way, are 100% pure steam distilled and they provide gas chromatography analysis and specifications on the volatility and integrity for many of the essential oils they stock.
