While I wasn't sold on the Gucci dress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley chose the other night for LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles, her makeup was flawless as always. When I got the breakdown of her look I was surprised to see that a) it was created by an Avon makeup artist (though it includes many non-Avon products as well), and b) there's not even one Burberry item on the list. You may recall that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was one of the most notable faces of Burberry makeup when it launched. I always associate her look with those beige tone-on-tone Burberry colors. In any case, it's worth taking note of the makeup and color used to create Rosie's look. There was no mention of false lashes, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that they used individual lashes to enhance the look.
Face:
· Cle de Peau Foundation (there was no mention which formula or color was used. I'm actually very curious about it. Though I need another foundation as mush as I need a second nose on my face).
· Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Radiant Light on the cheeks. I wonder if they actually used the new Ambient Lighting palette that also includes a highlighter. It appears to be the case.
Eyes:
· Votre Vu Brow Wax in Blonde (Is that the secret to Rosie's always perfect brows?)
· Avon True Color Eye Shadow Quad in Chocolate Sensation
· NARS Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via de Martelli (dark chocolate) on the lash line. No surprises there. It's an incredible pencil that will stay put through a zombie apocalypse.
· Avon Mega Effects Mascara in Black
Lip:
· Avon Ultra Glazewear in Tickled Pink
