For my trip to Rome, I stayed at the beautiful 5 star Hotel Palazzo Mafredi. This hotel is a 17th century multi-story villa, which is in perfect location location to all the popular attractions. We had room with views that allowed us to see the Colosseum directly from our nice king size bed. When we entered our spacious, bright room, we were surprised to have lovely flowers on the bed and a bottle of champaign wishing us a great stay in Rome. The reception area was beautiful and from the staff were very attentive and available at anytime day or night with any needs that we had. One of my favorite things about the hotel is that every night when we got back to our room they had a note laying on the bed right 2 pieces of chocolate and the forecast for the next day. The staff offered us lots of advice on things to do, places to eat, and even booked us a tour of the city by car with a private guide.
