However, the IT department shouldn’t act as a blocker to public cloud resources. Properly implemented, public and private cloud resources enable businesses today to quickly respond to new opportunities and gain significant competitive advantages. These cloud-native applications can be deployed on an enterprise’s preferred hypervisor or even Docker containers. Developers can use multiple languages, selecting the best language for each application function, creating all new cloud-native apps based on modules that talk to each other via a messaging queue.
