I declined the option of
registering
enrolling to vote when I gained citizenship, they subsequently wrote to me twice reminding me of my
right
duty to do so and I politely ignored both letters. So, they took the data I registered with one government department for a particular purpose and handed it, without my permission, to another government department for another purpose.
Ponder that for a moment; by being a citizen, I have tacitly agreed to a complete share of my personal information across all government departments, be it Federal, State, Local or Parish.
Why am I angry?

You can choose to enrol to vote or you can choose not to but we’ll enrol you anyway so who gives a fuck?
It’s not like your choice matters, just like in Federal elections.
