Collectible Geek‘s Collector’s Cache is a monthly package built for the ultimate collector, geek, or enthusiast. Each Collector’s Cache comes with five meticulously chosen items such as t-shirts, Funko products, nerdy toys from the staff at collectibleGEEK, featuring a different theme each month.
We recently received their October box and thought we would share what was inside. The October box ranged in price from $21 to $39, depending on the t-shirt size, and had a theme of “Universal Monsters.” The first thing you saw when you opened the box was this cool Frankenstein Plush.
Although I am not the biggest fan of Frankenstein, if you are, this Universal Studios Plush would make a great addition to your collection. It stands approximately 14″ tall.
The next product we found in the box was this posable action figure of “The Invisible Man.”
This ReAction Figure is approximately 3 3/4″ tall. Personally, do not see the excitement in this figure, but, I am sure there are fans of “The Invisible Man” that would like to add this to their collection.
As with many of the subscription boxes out there, most of the collectibleGEEK boxes come with a t-shirt. Staying with the “Universal Monsters” theme, the October box came with this really cool “Wife of Frankenstein” shirt.
The next item in the box is this small (and I do mean small) poster. They call it a desktop poster and it is more like a postcard than a poster. The poster, of course, goes along with the theme and shows Dracula getting ready to bite!
The final item in the box was this magnet….You will not find me having any of that coffee anytime soon!
If you are a fan of this theme, this is a pretty cool collection of monster-related stuff. Personally, I would have opted out of this box. Not because it wasn’t worth the money, but simply because I am not really into Frankenstein, The Invisible Man or the Black Lagoon.
Starting November 8th through December 7th, you can purchase the next box which will be a Star Trek theme. Now that’s a theme I know something about, considering I am married to a Trekkie!
So remember, With this subscription you save 3% off the retail price of the items. The collectibleGEEKS subscription works a little different in that if you are not interested in a specific them for a particular month, all you have to do is send an email to support@collectibleGEEK.com by the 7th of the month and you can skip that month. The only thing that isn’t completely clear to me with this subscription is the price. It depends on the size of the shirt and, it appears there are two different versions of the box, the regular and deluxe.
I thought collectibleGEEK did a great job curating the items in the box. The value is great too, so you really can’t beat that.

Overall, The Universal Monsters theme from Collectible Geek was good for the month of October. A good variety of many misc things makes it worth the purchase!
