With our 3 Instant Pot dinner recipes you can cook healthy, homemade meals for your family in as little as 10 minutes.



Chili

Chili is a great dish for the family and large gatherings. It feeds a crowd a balanced dish with a low price tag. Traditionally making a pot of chili from dried beans is the best for your budget. Sadly that means chili can take more than a day to make. Soaking beans overnight then cooking them all day to break down the indigestible sugars to prevent digestion issues. With the Instant Pot you can cook dried beans in a little as ten minutes making them ready for your pot of chili. Cooking beans in the instant pot kills off the bad effects of beans (Gas) and saves you time. The only downside is that they may look a little different due to cracking of the skin as the beans expand faster than the skin unlike traditional soaking methods.



Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 1/2 cups dried beans

1/2 cup onion, chopped

1 Tbsp minced garlic

1 can tomatoes and chilies or one large tomato

2 tbsp mild chili powder

1 1/2 tsp dried oregano

1 1/2 tsp cumin

1 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp ground pepper

Brown your meat using the saute setting on the Instapot. Strain the meat setting it to the side. Place beans and 6 cups water into your Instapot. Cook on manual mode for 2 minutes. Slowly release the pressure valve. Toss the drained beans, meat, and all other ingredients except the tomatoes into the Instant Pot. Stir well and cook chili on high pressure for 8 minutes.

Yes, that’s right you can make chili with dried beans in 10 minutes!

Beef Stroganoff

A classic boxed meal can come to life in a healthier homemade version just as fast with the Instant Pot. While still quick and cheap this version is healthier for you with twice the flavor.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced (2 1/2 cups)

2 medium onions, thinly sliced

1 garlic clove, finely chopped

1/4 cup butter

1 1/2 cups beef broth

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup sour cream

2 cups egg noodles

Set your Instant Pot to saute. Saute mushrooms, onions and garlic. Set to the side and brown your meat on the same setting and drain well.

Add in all other ingredients stir well. Cook on high pressure for 7 minutes. Serve your fresh homemade Stroganoff in a beautiful bowl and your family will think you worked all day to make their favorite meal.

Classic pot roast and veggies

This slow cooker favorite just got speedy without the stress of using a stovetop pressure cooker. Just toss everything into the Instapot set on high pressure for 22 minutes per pound, use a natural pressure release (roughly 20 min) and enjoy. It is as fast and easy as that. The Instant Pot can make your life so much easier when you find you forgot to plan dinner but cutting cooking time dramatically.

Ingredients

One 2-3 pound roast

3 potatoes

1 onion

2 cups large cut carrots

1 tablespoon oil or butter

1 1/2 cups beef broth

Set on high pressure for 22 minutes per pound and in little time a meal that used to take all day in the crockpot can be made in under an hour.  Arrange on a separated serving platter and enjoy!
