XZATIC is a brand new project of Dutch DJ and producer Michiel de Jong to take music forward to the next level.
In the end of 2013 Michiel decided to start this concept which allows him to introduce a whole new sound for his releases, dj
sets & radio shows.
After releasing several tunes under his real name “Michiel de Jong” it was about time to move on to the next level in his musical
career.
As for his 1st artist name and real name, Michiel de Jong, this will off course continue as well. You will be able to hear the
difference soon…

Michiel started producing electronic dance music in the late 90s, after being introduced to tracks from acts such as Cygnus X,
Jean Michel Jarre, Samuel Barber, Vangelis and Guns N’ Roses.
2001 – 2003, Michiel studied Mechanical engineering and moves to Rotterdam to start studying at SAE (School for Audio
Engineering). In november 2004, he got his papers and soon there was offered him a part-time job at 2 radio stations and
started broadcasting his weekly radio shows.
2005, Michiel starts working for IDP – DMC Holland (known from the Technics – Dutch Dance Charts), providing several courses
and services for dj’s and producers, e.g. beat-mixing, producing & finalizing.
July 2007, after 2 years of hard working and dedication, a new recording studio and company was build, Imagination
Recordings & Imagination Music.
The same year his first track “In Place” was released (Future State Records UK), followed by “Superstring Theory (Michiel de
Jong Mix)”. This slamming remix was featured trance on Trackitdown and very well supported in the scene.
July 2008, “Ishido – Twentytwo (Michiel de Jong remix)” was released at Bonzai Music. In August 2010 Michiel releases Michiel
de Jong & Aaron D – Trash or Treasure (Original Mix).
17 October 2011, Michiel de Jong – Electric & Michiel de Jong – Static was released at Straight UP! Music, Exalted tunes,
America. In 2014 Michiel de Jong – Moment of Silence (Original Mix) will be released. Watch out for his releases under XZATIC
