BlackBerry recently launched its latest device Z3 in Indonesia. This is the first product released by the company since John Chen has taken the command. It was announced back in February at MWC and is available on pre order for quite some time. A limited number of Z3 units come with the Jakarta inscription as the launch special product. It is also the first smartphone to hit the market shelve after Foxconn 5 year contract deal. The Indonesian release shows a very positive buyer reaction and strong sales for the company.

It launched the Z3 at Jakarta’s Central Park Mall. It looks like a giant BlackBerry store giving out information of BlackBerry Z3 units sold by far. More than 1250 Z3 were sold just after the release and many more are in the process. Foxconn is manufacturing partner of Apple as well and produced 100 samples of the iPhones with sapphire glass successfully. It will be manufacturing entry level BlackBerry models for developing countries, emerging as a great market with scope. The CEO said that after this Jakarta launch, there are four new models in the line and will soon make to the market. It includes a classic BlackBerry with tracking pad, QWERTY keypad and a 3.5 inch BlackBerry keypad.

It comes packed with latest BB 10.2.1 OS and a 5 inch display screen, similar to the Blackberry Z30 and comparatively larger than Z10. We have attached a YouTube video showing the first glimpse of the device along with telling the unique and basic features of the phone. Check it out and decide by yourself, if this could be your next phone? Hopefully, the trend will continue and the company will regain the lost market share. However, in the business arena, it still holds a fair share, and right products may ensure the stability.
