2017-01-30

We are excited to be announcing that the 3rd Knysna Celtic Festival is only three weeks away. We are also delighted to be welcoming Lew Geffen Sotheby’s International Realty Knysna on board as our new Title Sponsor.

Last year’s festival was very successful and grew much bigger than the previous year with well over 3,000 people lining Knysna’s Main Road to watch the Slow-to-Quick March competition (the only one of its kind in South Africa!) followed by the spectacular Massed Pipes & Drums Parade; around 2,000 people attending the daytime events; and over 1,500 people coming along to watch our 5th Sundowners Celtic & Bluegrass Concert

A big contributing factor to the increasing success of the festival is the incredible support that we get from all of our local supporters; and not forgetting the increasing number of non-local supporters and also the pipe bands and dancers from all over the country who make the long journey to Knysna each year – and so we would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who has previously attended and supported our event – we would not be able to do it without you so THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH and hope to see you all back again this year!
