Anyone who went to BLOODSTOCK this year would be amazed to see the strength and depth of metal in the upgraded big top ‘Newblood Stage’ and next year promises to deliver yet again. With their ale-loving friends at Hobgoblin continuing their support of BLOODSTOCK, the commitment to underground metal grows as ‘Hobgoblin Presents BLOODSTOCK’s Metal 2 The Masses’.
BLOODSTOCK has an ever-increasing number of venues and promoters in the UK and overseas supporting the scheme, and in addition to the roadshow, there’s a raft of other entry platforms to get bands on to the bill at the UK’s heaviest of festivals. This really is an event with an eye on the future of metal.
Further to the tour itself, which begins in May 2014, BLOODSTOCK will also be taking CD submissions, and their Hobgoblin pals will be continuing their M2TM video upload programme worldwide, as in years prior. Look out for the print ads, coasters and special BLOODSTOCK branded beer bottles.

With the three 2014 headliners already announced, the event is shaping up to be the strongest yet. Friday night’s bill toppers are New Orleans sludgemeisters DOWN. Joining them to head up Saturday night are black metal overlords, EMPEROR and closing out proceedings on Sunday are the mighty thrash legends, MEGADETH. Also announced so far are SAXON, DECAPITATED, and FLOTSAM & JETSAM. More bands will be announced shortly.
