Hi, everyone! Last month I showed you my December ipsy glam bag review and I'm back again to share the January bag with you! (And if you decide you want to try out Ipsy for yourself, please use my referral link!)

As a little refresher if you're not familiar, Ipsy is a monthly subscription box that costs $10 and sends you a small bag filled with usually around 5 either deluxe-sized samples or full-sized products.

First up is the bag itself, which I think is really cute but it has a really strong plasticy scent which is kind of unpleasant. Hopefully that will go away after awhile.

The items I received in the bag were:

Elizabeth Mott Smooth Shadow: The IPSY description claims this can be used for top line eyeliner, waterliner, as a crease color or a highlight.I do like the color and when I swatched it on my arm it seemed to have good staying power. (okay, the honest truth- I forgot that I'd swatched it and it lasted through my shower the next morning before I noticed it!) Might be a little too shimmery for a highlight though in my opinion. Maybe if it was just a small amount and really blended out.

Malin + Goetz Mojito Lip Balm: Pretty self-explanatory, a lip balm that is flavored like Mojitos. That's one of my favorite drinks & I do always find myself in need of more lip balm, so I was hoping I'd like it more than I did. It doesn't have much of a scent and it's really sticky which I don't like in a balm.

Apothederm Bright Skin Serum: This claims to help refine, brighten and hydrate for a more even complexion. I won't really know how well this works until I've used it for awhile.

Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner: I've never used a leave in conditioner at all before. I really don't use a lot of hair products in general, my hair is really thick, healthy and nice naturally so I try not to mess with it much. I do use a lot of regular conditioner though (it IS almost waist-length!) so I suppose trying this out can't hurt!

Willa On The Go Face Towelettes: Are these supposed to remove makeup too or just to freshen up? I guess I'll throw them in my purse but definitely not something I was dying to have, haha.

Overall while I do think these are nice products, I'd rather have makeup samples rather than hair/skincare stuff so this was too heavy on that for me. I will give it at least one more month before decided if I am going to unsubscribe or not. I do think they are a great deal for the price IF you like those kinds of samples. Again, if you want to subscribe for yourself, please use my referral link here. You can also like Ipsy on facebook page & follow them on twitter to stay up to date with new information!
