Lucille Jacobs, deputy chief executive officer of The New Age, has resigned. She is now handling the Rand Show via her own media, marketing and management consultancy.

Dynamic creative duo to lead isobar – Valtchanova and Russolillo

Isobar South Africa has announced the appointment of Yana Valtchanova as creative director in Johannesburg. Valtchanova joins the Isobar Network with an impressive 15 years of industry experience. She has led the creative departments of various agencies and is sure to make her presence felt.

OHMSA appoints new executive director

OHMSA has announced the appointment Les Holley as executive director of the association. Holley replaces Sarel du Plessis, who has held the position for the past 12 months. Du Plessis will focus on his own business interests but will continue to provide services to the Association on a contractual basis.

Holley is no stranger to the OOH sector having served as executive director of the Association from its inception in 2002 until 2010 when he joined Continental Outdoor as general manager of their Africa Division.

Holley brings a lifetime of experience to the OOH sector. He supports the new vision and goals of the association and believes that the future of OOH is bright. “What with the advent of interactive out of home in malls and on the streets combined with the new dynamic digital technology it is really an exciting time to be back at OHMSA” he said.

Moving Tactics’ bolsters its technical department

Moving Tactics SA, the digital signage solutions company, has strengthened its support services by appointing three new staff members. It has specifically focused on increasing its technical capability by bolstering the technical team with the appointment of Jamie Hendricks and Ese Alofoje.

Hendricks is a dynamic 19-year-old who has kick-started his career at Moving Tactics as technician. He is responsible for off-site maintenance and installation of new networks and will also assist in-house with maintenance repairs and deliveries.

Appointed as assistant to the head of the technical department, Ese Alofoje’s new position is crucial in the operation, testing and maintenance of the network infrastructure, servers and prototype systems’ technology for Moving Tactics nationally

In the Johannesburg office, Elisma Uys has been employed as personal assistant and project administrator.

Sirince Jewellery selects the SARCDA expo to launch in South Africa
