The new makeup brand by Kjaer Weis is a certified organic line with such beautiful packaging, that it makes me feel like a child again when discovering my mothers makeup for the first time. The timeless combination of red lacquer and refillable compacts adds to the modern and yet socially responsible brand. Created by Danish makeup artist Kristen Kjaer Weis, the makeup is all about enhancing ones beauty without toxic chemicals. Lately I’ve had a fascination with all things nordic from Sweden to Denmark. It seems they are just farther ahead in this lands in terms of sustainable living. This line is a combination of Danish sensibility, mixed with the sophistication of a New York based makeup artist, with Italian luxury brand tones. My favorite picks in the line are Goddess and sensuous plumb lip stains, the mascara and earthy calm eyeshadow.
