With the relaunch of our new and improved (and re-named) course, Living Intuitively, we thought it perfect timing to present a series of six interviews with past pupils of the online course (three of which are our own The Little Sage staff members). They share their inspirational stories and their life-changing decisions since completing the course.

Who are you, what’s your age and what do you do?
I’m Helen, I’m 32 and I’m the founder of The Little Sage and creator of the Living Intuitively program.

What made you want to undertake our online course, Create a Life you Love. Intuitively.?
I live and breathe what I teach. I was taking participants through the course so I wanted to get the full experience myself.

It was a different, very surreal experience participating in the same course I was also teaching. I always wished there was something like this course available when I first started developing my intuition and learning how to harness my psychic ability… it was an absolute dream come true to run and participate in the course last year.

But the course is so much more than intuition. This is just the foundation. Living Intuitively takes you through the process of change, the same process I underwent when I first left my corporate job to follow my intuition. And it’s the same process I’ve moved through every time I’ve had a breakthrough in my life in the past six years – go within, do the work, see the outer world change.

The materials, meditations and exercises weren’t new to me – they were exactly what I did years ago, even though at the time I didn’t know what I was doing. It was interesting to move through the process now, some years later, and see how far I’ve come.

Did you find the lessons manageable and interesting?
When I ran and participated in the course last year, I didn’t have the same secure childcare arrangements and had less support in my business – and yet, I was able to keep up.

That said, I wrote the course! I was also running the course! So of course I found it interesting… but even I learnt something new.

That’s the thing with this work, it is merely a mirror or a prompt to help you see what you need to see more clearly. I guess that’s also one of the benefits of receiving all the materials as a downloadable book and workbook – you can keep going over the tools every time you are trying to move a blockage or see something more clearly.

What was your favourite part of the course?
The interaction in the Facebook group was by far my favourite part of the course. I was amazed at how involved everyone was, how engaged all the participants were. I am in my element when I talk about these topics, so to me it was wonderful to have so many other like-minded souls to discuss my favourite topics with.

It was a real blast to see in real-time the changes the participants were making; the feedback on the exercises and meditations. And because I was so involved, I could offer additional insights or info in the group forum, depending on where we were lead. We covered off dream interpretation in the group, for example, which wasn’t a feature of the course, but the group energy lead us there. Whatever comes through from spirit, I’ll offer to the group.

Was there a particular ‘aha’ moment for you during or after this course?
I wrote this course, edited this course, then taught and participated in the course, with some time elapsing between writing and teaching/participating.

I had to laugh at the timing – when we would cover something I wrote months ago that now spoke directly to what was unfolding in my personal life in real-time. This often happens in my automatic writing practice too. My guides clearly have a sense of humour – and a nice little touch of “proof” for me.

Is there anything from the course you practice regularly?
Well, yes, all of the meditations and I revisit many of the tools and exercises from time to time, depending on what I’m working through.

Self-love was a big theme for me at the time I wrote the course last year, and I’ve come such a long way with it since. This has definitely been the biggest and newest focus for me personally since I ran the course last year.

What changes have you made since undertaking the course?
Quite a lot! As the course drew to a close, we moved house and started a new adventure this year. I’ve hired two staff members; re-launched The Little Sage website and our Oracle Cards; I’ve realised my strengths in working with groups (hence running the course again and introducing our monthly Circles) and I’ve been able to focus here; while Claire and Katie work brilliantly in the areas they excel in. I manifested my dream of running a retreat this year, which allowed me to travel to Bali with some amazing women. I was invited to speak at some great events earlier this year too.

There’s been a great deal of change personally too – my husband and I have spent a lot of time this year re-prioritising and setting ourselves up to focus on our family and the lifestyle we really desire. There’s great things in the works here too!

When I write it all down, I notice it’s quite a lot! How grateful I am.

Do you think the lessons learnt in this course are easily applied to everyday life?
This course covers the tools and techniques I used when I started out. I was able to easily apply them without really knowing I was doing so; I then found I was helping others apply them in my 1:1 coaching and I saw last year’s participants apply them too.

I like to think I have a way of presenting some “out there” content in a very practical, user-friendly way.

That said, some of the material will resonate deeply with some people more than others – and vice versa. I believe what you need is always available and when what you need changes, what is available changes too. So, take the content that works for now, apply it and come back to the rest at a later point… the material is yours to keep so you can revisit it whenever you wish.

Would you say you’ve better learnt to live intuitively?
I don’t think I’ve learnt to live any more intuitively, but I did learn even more about myself in the process. The more you know about yourself, your truth, your life path always helps move you forward and ultimately that’s what life is all about.

Any last thoughts on the Create a Life You Love. Intuitively. course you’d like to share?
I know this is a life-changing program, because it is the information, meditations, exercises and techniques I personally used to change my life.

I was guided to create the program. The material was given to me from my spirit guides. I trust them implicitly. I trust the right people for this course will turn up – this part is out of my hands. But whoever does turn up in class on October 20 has my full attention and energy. This course is my big, personal focus for the remainder of 2014. I’ll give this my all because I honestly believe the world would be a better place if we all knew how to live from our intuition and guidance centre.
