In India corruption has become a way of life. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved to fight corruption. But it’s a mightier monster than ten-headed Ravana. He has reasons to be confident. He tackled and continued corruption in Gujarat as Chief Minister. So he boldly declared: “Neither I will take bribe myself, nor allow anyone else to do so.” (Na to mai khaunga, na to kisiko khane dunga) People believe him. His first step in this direction is to implement S.C order to unearth black money.

He has recruited honest people from various parties who are fighting against the corruption. He thinks corruption is a big problem in India. He wants to fight against corruption with all strength. He has plans to work with honest officers. He wants to wipe out poverty by fighting against corruption which is the one of the reasons for the country’s poverty.

Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India is interested to improve the condition of Indian farmers. He wants to recognize the solar power initiative of Leh, Kashmir. He wants India to develop its power, rail, road and telecommunications. His vision of development will change the lives of common man.

Every government faces the challenge to fight against corruption. Corruption hinders development and poverty cannot be eradicated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared his war on corruption during the Lok Sabha election campaign. His government decided to form Special Investigation Team (SIT). This team will uncover black money stashed abroad. He is bold enough to fight corruption at higher ranks of Government.

According to a report by NGO ONE, Indians have sent $3.2 trillion abroad. Narendra Modi is dealing with corruption seriously. He has informed the business houses of not adopting corrupt means of earning money. The government plans to wipe out corruption at the top level. The PM is keeping track of the activities so that no corruption takes place at any level. He has commanded his ministers to file a list of their income and assets to the party.

PM Narendra Modi has received a list of names who who have back black money in foreign banks. He knows the security of India is jeopardized. The PM is seeking support at the international level to fight against black money. He is quite worried about tax avoidance. He wants to take serious steps against it.

As a part of the election agenda Narendra Modi promised Indian citizens to fight against corruption and black money. His noble plan to fight against black money has touched the heart of millions of Indians. We are looking forward to this fight against corruption. It is true corruption has ruined the social and economic structure of India with huge money only in the hands of a few people. If taxes were paid, much development of infrastructure could have been done.

The Narendra Modi government plans to negotiate about treaties with foreign countries. He is very much concerned with black money and tax avoidance. He emphasized transparency in tax payment. He has held meeting with BRIC leaders and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. He has planned to coordinate with BRIC leaders like Brazil’s Dilma Rousseff, China’s Xi Jinping, Russia’s Vladimir Putin, South Africa’s Jacob Zuma. He believes black money pose a threat to the security of India. It also accentuates the division among people.

The statistics of Black Money as per the report of Global Financial Integrity tells us that between 2003 and 2012, the black money moving out of India is Rs. 28 lakh crore! PM Narendra Modi is taking steps to fight against the black money. As per the report, $43.96 billion black money moved out of India every year! In the Geneva branch of HSBC, the Special Investigation Team found Rs. 4479 crore and the money belonged to the Indians. Within India, the Special Investigation Team found Rs. 14958 crore.

Narendra Modi is very much concerned to wipe out this corruption. But there is no official figure of black money in India and abroad. The outflow of money from India is increasing at a rate of 9.4% and the Modi government is trying hard to control it.

PM Narendra Modi strongly said about the return of black money and the fight against corruption. In his radio address, he has said that he has no idea on how much money has been sent abroad. He urged Indian citizens to trust him in his goal of fighting corruption. The Supreme Court of India has formed a special committee to bring back the black money. The Modi government has submitted the names received in the court soon. Justice MB Shah has declared that the investigation will end within March 31.

PM Narendra Modi has joined hands with yoga guru Baba Ramdev. Modi has talked about the ill effects of black money in Indian life. He has resolved to fight black money by passing legislations and also by entering into bilateral agreement with other countries. He will punish those who have taken away country’s wealth abroad.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to fight against corruption. According to some estimate if all the black money is returned back to India, every poor man will get Rs. 3 lakh. He has promised Indian citizens of transparency in governance. He has met leaders from seven South Asian countries and planned to fight corruption. He is determined to make India free from corruption.

We hope Modi will succeed where eagles dare. He will bring back the wealth that belongs to India.
