Audit Senior/Audit Supervisor
R16,000 - R25,000 MAX!
Recently completed articles (at medium sized firm) and CTA
Must have had Maths and Accounting in Matric with a pass of 70% or higher
Must come from an auditing firm specialising in PRIVATE companies. Please do not apply if you worked on government entities
Strong Caseware and IFRS knowledge
Experience in managing staff
Wants to remain in audit profession
Own transport essential (including valid SA driver’s license)
Have a consistently good academic record;
Be fluent in English and have good communication skills;
Be motivated and able to work independently;
Have good time management skills;
Be able to work under pressure;
Responsibilities:
Planning and managing audits;
Performing high-level audit work;
Reviewing work performed by trainees and audit files prior to presentation to partners;
Monitoring audit budgets and meeting deadlines;
Preparing tax computations and completing tax returns timeously;
Managing, training and evaluating trainees in terms of SAICA requirements;
Compliance with all accounting, auditing and other technical issues; and
Supporting audit partners on all accounting, auditing and tax matters.
