With the growing concerns on the harmful effects of chemicals like parabens, sulphates, silicones, etc, many brands are coming up with organic/natural/sls & paraben free products. Kronokare is one such brand that has joined the list. All their products are free from SLS & Parabens. Also they are not tested on animals. Today I will be reviewing the “Kronokare Mediterranean Citrus Hydrate & Untangle Hair Conditioner”.

Packaging:
The conditioner comes in a dark brown colored translucent bottle with a fluorescent green label covering it. There is a black flip-open cap with a small hole to dispense the right amount of product everytime. The back side of the label lists the complete ingredients and other details of the product. It comes in two sizes – 60 ml and 220 ml. The 60 ml size is perfect for travelling and the flip-open cap shuts tightly without any leakage.

Citrus Bergamia, Citrus Sinensis, Citrus Paradiisi, Iso Propyl Maristate, Mineral Oil, Glycerine, Emulsifying Wax, Olive Oil, DC 245 Silicon Direvetive, DC 350 Silicon Derivetive, Imid Urea, 2-Phenoxyethanol, Ethylene Diamin Tetra Acetic Acid, Colour, Distilled water.
My take on Kronokare Mediterranean Citrus Hydrate & Untangle Hair Conditioner:
I have very fine hair and heavy conditioners tend to weigh down my hair. But skipping conditioners altogether makes my hair dry and frizzy. I need a light weight conditioner to detangle and hydrate my tresses. And Kronokare Mediterranean Citrus Hydrate & Untangle Hair Conditioner perfectly suits this. The conditioner is milky white in color with a runny consistency. It has a very invigorating scent of fresh citrus. The scent is not overpowering but just right to refresh and rejuvenate you. I take slightly more than a coin-sized amount and apply on my hair lengths. It spreads easily and helps to detangle hair and knots. I leave it on for around 5 minutes and then rinse off. It gets washed off quickly. Sadly, the wonderful fragrance doesn’t last after washing. After drying, my hair is definitely less frizzy and hydrated and healthy. Also, it doesn’t weigh down my hair unlike other conditioners. Though, if you have extremely dry hair, I don’t think this will work. This is more suitable for normal and fine hair. The price of the product too is reasonable. It’s not as cheap as other drugstore brand. But compared to other such brands offering SLS & paraben-free products like Kama Ayurveda, Forest Essentials, The Body Shop etc, it is more affordable.

Verdict: Overall, Kronokare Mediterranean Citrus Hydrate & Untangle Hair Conditioner is a nice SLS and paraben-free conditioner for normal and fine hair. It has a fresh citrusy fragrance. It detangles hair and makes it manageable without weighing it down. However, if you very dry, frizzy hair, you can skip it.
