Several parts of India particularly states of Andhra Pradesh ,Telengana, Odisa, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh are reeling under intense heat wave conditions for the last three days. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states, normal life has been badly hit due to the heat wave conditions. A total of 168 persons have died in the past few days due to sun stroke and heat related problems in the two states. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu told reporters in Hyderabad today that 95 persons died due to sun stroke in 13 districts of the state. Most of the deaths occurred in the past two days.

In Telangana, Disaster Management Officials told our correspondent that 73 persons have died so far due to sun stroke in the state. Though heat wave conditions prevailed across the country, the Two Telugu states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are facing its severity for the past few days. Almost all parts of Telangana are reeling under sweltering heat with Khammam recording 48 degrees Celsius day temperatures today. According to met officials, it is the first time Khammam recorded 48 degrees in the past 60 years.

Out of ten districts, all districts recorded above 40 degrees with the lowest of Maximum Temperatures 42 degrees recorded at Medak today. For the people of Andhra Pradesh also it is not less worry. It was boiling in coastal parts of the state and also in Rayalaseema region with maximum temperatures touching 47 degrees Celsius at Vijayawada and Nandigama. Several towns in the state recorded above 40 degrees today. District authorities in the two states have advised people to remain indoors and take all measures to protect themselves from the sunstroke.–Lakshmi, airnews, Hyderabad.

In Odisha, many cities in the state recorded more than 45 degree Celsius day temperature. Our correspondent reports, the state government has so far received reports of 23 deaths due to heat wave conditions.

In Rajasthan, mercury soared to 46 .2 degree Celsius in Sriganganagar. The maximum temperature ranged between 43and 46 degree celcius across the state affecting normal life in the state . In Uttar Pradesh, state capital Lucknow recorded the highest temperature of the season as the mercury touched around 44 degrees Celsius. Allahabad remained the hottest city in the state with 47 degrees, five degrees above normal.

In the national capital Delhi also there was no respite from the scorching heat, with temperature rising to 44 degree Celsius.
