From bright solids to crazy prints, LuLaRoe has taken the country by storm. I had briefly heard of LuLaRoe about a year ago but when I saw that you could only purchase the clothing from a member, I didn’t look any further. Then my best friend Holli started selling the line and I became intrigued again.
LuLaRoe is an MLM business where consultants(retailers) offer a variety of clothing including leggings(the most popular), tops, skirts, and dresses. The clothing line is meant for all body types with sizes ranging from 0 to 22. The brand also offers options for children and men though little girls get the upper hand on what is offered. LuLaRoe only makes 321 pieces with the same pattern, after that they retire the print and move on to the next.
What I Love
When it comes to the leggings I love how soft they are and how well they stretch in the waist. I love the fact that even though there are only 321 pieces made with the same pattern, that pattern is available in every size. This gives everyone the chance to snag a print they love. I like the price point of most products. The consultants are allowed to set their own pricing but most use the standard suggested prices they are given. That makes a pair of leggings a whopping $25. Things can get pricy when they release lines like their holiday collection but in general you can grab a whole outfit for under $75.
What I Hate
I hate that once you try a pair of leggings you can’t stop looking for your “unicorn” pair. Consultants have started raising the prices on pieces they know are highly sought after. However, I can’t blame them because I honestly would do it too. The other method consultants have turned to is a roulette style sale. They will have 5 grab bags that everyone pays for and one bag will have the lucky unicorn piece in them. Many people love this option because they are getting a pair of leggings either way for the normal price of $25.
What I’m in the Middle On
My last quirk that I’m in the middle on about LuLaRoe is the sizing differences. Yes, they are made for all sizes however they are made in different countries therefore a Tall & Curvy made in one country is not the same size as another. I’ve heard this issue is suppose to be fixed though so it shouldn’t be a problem much longer if at all.
In hindsight of the pros and cons, LuLaRoe is really a great line for all women to consider checking out. I suggest starting with a pair of leggings. They are inexpensive and a great piece to give a try. If you love it, add a top, then escalate into full on LuLaRoe-dom.
