Here’s what Soundcrash have to say

Soundcrash presents an evening featuring two of London’s finest acts: Launching their seventh studio album will be our all-time favourite funky, forward thinking, experimental hip hop collective The Herbaliser making a return to their roots with their forthcoming self-released LP “There Were Seven”. Joining them in the midst of their “Rollerchain” world-wide tour will be our favourite turntable Soul trio Belleruche! On Dj duties we are very excited to have over from Paris for an ultra-rare London appearance the seminal Hip Hop producer DJ CAM plus Ninja Tune stalwart DJ Food playing a live audiovisual show. This will be a glorious celebration of some of the most creative and influential acts that have helped shape the sounds of today.

Jazz/Hip-Hop legends The Herbaliser will be joining us to play an exclusive live set presenting to the world their self-released new album “There Were Seven” which marks a return to the chunkier, funkier Herbaliser Hip-Hop sound! Having had artists like Roots Manuva, Seaming To, Blade, Phi Life Cypher, and MF DOOM rhyme over their beats, expect nothing but heavy beats and serious party vibes!

London Turntable Soul Trio Belleruche play a very special live show playing material from their new album Rollerchain plus a selection of their much loved classics! Rollerchain was released earlier in the year to huge acclaim and has cemented Belleruche’s reputation as one of the leading soul acts at an international level. This is a rare opportunity to catch them live in their hometown in a venue that truly befits their raw quality.

The hugely influential Abstract Hip Hop/Jazz producer DJ Cam began his career in the 1990s and became a mainstay of the revolutionary French Touch alongside producers of the caliber of Daft Punk, Air, Dimitri From Paris or Cassius. DJ Cam has since released six albums, an essential DJ Kicks session and given countless performances all around the world, helping him to acquire global notoriety. What DJ Krush is to Japan and DJ Shadow is to the States DJ Cam is to France. It is a very rare privilege to have this man  playing on our shores so make sure you come out to party!

Strictly Kev has been involved with the multi-producer DJ Food project for over 15 years, being the sole remaining member for the last decade. He has DJed the world over with Food originators Coldcut and PC as well as performing 4 deck Audio Visual sets with Solid Steel radio main man DK. From 1995’s ‘Recipe For Disaster’ onwards, he has mixed 100s of hours of audio for compilations, radio and the web using his 25 + years of DJ experience and vast record collection. Tonight he will be performing his sensational Audiovisual Set, you won’t want to miss this!

In other news.

We just shot a video for The Lost Boy.

Our first release from the forthcoming album There Were Seven

The song is currently out there getting some spins on radio and we hope to be dropping the video very soon.

Also, our horror themed video for March of the Dead Things is in editing and will be complete in time for All Hallows Eve. Wooooooaaargghhh!
