I may have saved the best for last with this round-up of The Healthy Maven DESSERTS I make all the time! So far we’ve covered: THM meals, THM breakfasts and THM snacks. It’s been fun to dig through the archives and highlight which recipes are my absolute faves!

I’d like to believe that this post will round out the series, but in true form I’m feeling a calling for soup. Well a calling just in life, but also for a round-up of my favorite soup recipes since we all know I’m soup obsessed! Let me know if you’d like to see a soup round-up in the comments.

But right now we’re focused on desserts.

Can I teach you a trick? People ask me how I don’t just gorge on all the delicious baked goods that seem to filter through my home. Here’s the truth: Because I’ve given myself 100% permission to pig out if I want to. Ironically, this has meant that I rarely eat more than 1 (or 2 or 3 if I’m super hungry or PMSing…). Dessert will never be off-limits. What a sad world to live in if it were.

But if I’m going for dessert, I definitely have a preference. You may notice a theme here (ahem cookies), and that’s because I’m a fan of quick and easy desserts. Cakes and cupcakes and all that jazz are reserved for special occasions, but certainly not something I make all the time. But if you were to take a peek on my cupboard (or more likely my freezer…), here’s what you’d find!

Healthy Chickpea Blondies

Likely the latest edition to the THM dessert archives, and currently my favorite! I mean there’s blondies and chocolate and chickpeas…what more could a girl ask for?!

Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies for Two

I’ve probably done about a hundred variations of these based on what I have on hand. The original recipe is spot on but sometimes I’m missing flax or earth balance so I’ll substitute for a subpar version, but hey, it’s chocolate chip cookies!

Almond Butter Hemp Seed Cookies

These are so good that to this day they’re the only recipe that C has made from THM when I’ve been travelling. 500+ recipes and this is the ONLY ONE. I think that speaks for itself.

Peppermint Black Bean Brownies

Yup. Another recipe with beans. I’m telling you though, these brownies are unreal! I’ve never understood why people don’t like mint chocolate, but feel free to omit the mint to keep em’ 100% chocolate. Either way, they’re delish!

The Best Ever Banana Bread

Banana bread that is gluten-free and vegan and basically the best thing on the planet. Just read the comments on this old post, I’m clearly not alone in my love for this recipe! Side note- it’s a bit of work but it freezes well so worth the extra steps!

Healthy Peanut Butter Cookies

I make this recipe ALL THE TIME but it took almost 3 years to post it! I just thought it was “too easy” to post as a recipe. This is evidenced by the video I shot on a whim when Nikky and Lee were hanging around that has since become one of my most popular videos. LOL of course….

Mango Coconut Chia Pudding

This recipe is probably the easiest to make but requires the most patience! No added sugars, just two minutes to put together but you gotta wait 6 hours to dig in. I make a big batch at a time so I have lots of dessert for the week!

What Desserts do you always have on hand? Any THM faves?
