As I’m writing this, the air conditioning is out. It’s only Florida in July, and in the upper 90s, but no big deal. This has been a tough year for my house in terms of heating and cooling. The heater needed replaced in the winter, and I pray that the a/c is reparable. I’ll have to wait til tomorrow to find out, unfortunately!
In the meantime, I’m kinda dying. My laptop is pretty heated up at the moment, and even with the ceiling fan on full-blast, it’s doing very little to keep me cool.
Oh, I’m also hungover – a rarity these days – and the lack of a/c is feeling extra painful right now. It’s not lovely.
What’s a girl to do? Go to the pool. It’s hot, the sun is shining brightly, and it’s a beautiful day. Why suffer indoors anyway? I’m packing up and going to the pool. I don’t actually have a pool, but I’m gonna find one, or I’ll just head out to the beach. Who doesn’t love to spend hot sunny days at the pool with friends and family?
