My Review:

Melissa was so kind to send me over three lovely pieces from Talulah Lee!

Each Talulah Lee piece is lovingly gift wrapped in a great embossed gift box artfully tied with twine.

Love the little heart detail on the bottom of the box!!! You can totally tell Melissa is all about the details no matter how small they may be.

First up is the Silver Cluster Bracelet on Emerald Green Leather Cord. Love the green and how it just seems to pop!

Next up we have the amazing Silver Cluster Bracelet on Salmon Pink Leather Cord. Just love the name of this bracelet! Salmon Pink sounds so pretty! (This can also be worn as a necklace!!)

Finally the last bracelet that was sent to me is the Silver Cluster on Muave Leather. Love the fact that this bracelet is so neutral so it goes with totally everything!

These three lovely pieces are from Talulah Lee's Cluster Bracelet - Nugget collection!

I just love how much these colours just go so well together! You have the bright pops of colour that is offset by the neutral tone of the last bracelet.

If you are a girl who just loves the yellow gold don't worry! Talulah Lee also offers these Nugget Cluster Bracelets in a large variety of other metal colours as well! There's Bronze, Gold, the Silver which I reviewed and the breathtakingly beautiful Rose Gold!

And with multiple leather cord colours the possibilities are endless! You can really find a great piece that has your favorite metal colour on you favorite coloured leather cord!

Each piece also is finished with a bright silver button clasp.

Another thing that I totally love is that each bracelet is adjustable to fit wrists of 6, 7 or 8 inches! I have had a huge problem in the past with bracelets being able to fit me because they are always so large so I love that Talulah Lee has the option to cut off the excess leather cord to ensure that you will get the perfect fit!

Here are some shots of  Talulah Lee in action! Look at how great the bracelets look alone and stacked together!

And here are some shots of more great Nugget Cluster Bracelets from the website:

Melissa also did a great interview where we can get to know more about her and her design process:

Tell us a little bit about yourself: I am orginally an American citizen from Buffalo, NY who worked abroad in UK after college. I starting dabbing in with beads and baubles in 2006 when I knew it was something of interest to me. As of then jewellery making became a hobby when I had time in between my full-time marketing job in London, UK. In 2010 I signed up for my first professional jewellery-making course. Here I learned metal work, soldering, and shaping of metals into form.  Since then I’ve taught myself using online tutorials, blogs and my own research. In college I studied marketing and obtained my MBA in 2006 so I know alot about the business side of how to run a successful startup. However, now I live in Sweden with my husband who is Swedish so there are many new challenges including learning the Swedish language, understanding the Swedish customer, and EU business laws that are different from that in the USA (where I was born).

When and what made you want to open up your shop? I always wanted to have my own shop as that is the identity for my store. I think especially now living in Sweden it is the perfect time because I can work from home, sell my wonderful creations, and people from Sweden, Canada, USA and all over the world will begin to appreciate my designs.

Tell us a little bit more about your creation process:

It may take me a day to determine a style or look that is aesthetically appealing, determine the technique involved and then create a piece. For many pieces, a lot of time is spent experimenting on what stones and materials and look will look best. Many times I will make a one-off piece as a special edition and once it’s gone that it! Items with many components such as crystals, stones, thread, and leather, may take 2-3 days even after the design is finalized. I love using the best high quality materials such as ecological leather and Swarovski Crystals. It really makes a difference to the piece.  Then there is the entire marketing aspect – photography, description, website and promotion. Each jewellery piece is finished off with my hand stamped tag available in sterling silver or 14K Gold. I take pride in knowing that each piece my customer receives is unique and special to them.

Where do you draw inspiration for all your amazing designs?

I love classic looks and clean lines…or what I call wearable beauty that never goes out of style. Each item reflects this in one way or another whether it’s a wrap bracelet, delicate gold necklace, wire wrapped earrings, or simplistic charm bracelet with a single charm. If someone asked me my style in two words it would be understated elegance.  There are elements of current fashion trends and colours, but it doesn’t overwhelm the overall lines in my jewellery and I try not to pay attention to the fashion trends too much.

I love the symbolism and meaning of many objects we find in nature and try to incorporate them into many of my pieces. For example, feathers hold meanings of spiritual evolution and ascension and represent the sacredness of air, wind, and thunder gods. Sparrow birds, free-spirited, swift and humble, are also symbolic in that they remind us to use our creativity in life’s everyday challenges. Lastly, the lotus flower, known for its purity and beauty, symbolizes spiritual awakening and faithfulness. Stones also hold special meaning, and many of my pieces incorporate natural colored jade, amazonite, peridot, pearls, sunstone, and moonstone. You'll find these in many wrap bracelet styles.

What is your go to piece in your collection? I personally love the new cluster bracelets. They a minimalistic in their design yet show off alot of bold color at the same time. Whats great is that you can mix, match and layer the single layer versions to create your own unique color look and style for any occasion.

If you could be an animal what would you be and why? I have a rabbit obsession, and so I would probably pick to be a rabbit. They may not be the most majestic animals or have amazing speed or anything like that but they are pleasant and well, just adorably cute!

If you could have one super power what would it be and why? If I could snap my fingers and have all my work done for the day for my jewelry that would be a dream. I am not saying I would want this superpower everyday but perhaps once a week would be refreshing! In regards to running the business, I do mostly everything myself, and although I love doing it, some days it does get quite exhausting. There is always something to do whether its photography, inventory, keeping spreadsheets up to date, ordering new supplies, creating a new piece, managing the website or fulfilling orders. I think the best thing is that when you get a nice email from a customer who just loves their piece of jewelry and they are ecstatic! That is what makes my day and why I love doing this so much.
