Off topic a bit Cap'in, but do you remember the Gor-ray factory in Brick Lane, or the snake pit inside the factory, I wont say any more for the moment
No Sorry, can't remember, what did they make? it might jog me memory, we lived a couple of streets away from Brick Lane on the Bethnal Green side Kerbella street I dont think its there any more they demolished our slums down spent lots of time in Brick Lane, Chutlers cafe an the top end and the Blue star cafe, we moved to Vallance road the first prefab under the arch when I was 16, helped out in the arches servicing and repairing black cabs in my spare time, did a bit of boxing at Repton club and robert montefury..(sp) our paths must have crossed at some time, I think my Uncle Brian did Aden and Cyprus
its a very small world, got talking to an odd couple some years ago in Cyprus the chap turned out went to the Brady club the same time as me and the scouts, he remembered me but I could'nt place him
