Has it been a month already? Oh yes. And it's been a great month for Nordic music – but hey I say that every month so don't trust me. See for yourselves below. We've covered the Malmö-based indie rock act YAST a couple of times before and now it's time again. They've already released two brilliant singles this year in 'Believes' and 'Strangelife'; and in mid-October they followed it with a third; 'Stupid'. 'Stupid' is just as good as their previous work, and it's the first single with their debut album in sight. The LP is due sometime next year but for now you can enjoy the video for 'Stupid' below.

The Swedish/Australian twin sister duo Saint Lou Lou's debut single 'Maybe You' was released in late August on the French Kitsuné label and they're by far one of the most exciting pop acts coming out of Scandinavia at the moment. Earlier this month Stockholm production duo Montauk, who handles the music in Faye, shared a great remix of 'Maybe You', which you can hear below.

Speaking of Faye, the pop songstress released her latest single 'Breathe Out' via Hybris and Best Fit Recordings this month and as usually it's a great one with stunning vocals and excellent production courtesy of the aforementioned Montauk. If Faye can keep up this kind of quality through her long-awaited debut LP it'll definitely be one to remember.

The Norwegian pop outfit Philco Fiction's debut LP Take It Personal was originally released in Norway last fall and saw an international release on Something In Construction earlier this year. A couple of weeks back a deluxe edition of the record was released and in connection with the release they shared the official video for LP standout 'Help!'. Watch it below.

The final pick this month is the debut track from Mariam The Believer. Mariam The Believer is the solo project of Mariam Wallentin, half of experimental duo Wildbirds & Peacedrums, on which takes a slightly more conventional route. But hey, it's just as good. Watch the video for 'The String Of Everything' below and keep your eyes peeled for more info on her debut record Blood Donation, which is due early next year.

As usual there's some bonuses if you still haven't gotten your fill of Nordic goodness; Jens Lekman's latest video for the beautiful 'Become Someone Elses', the first track from organ duo Mackaper's upcoming second LP, a new EP from Stockholm pop duo Karl X Johan and a new track from dream pop outfit Dream Curtain. Enjoy.
