Hi there! Happy Monday.  I hope you all had just as fun and relaxing a 4th of July Weekend as I did! Today’s post is going to be a long, albeit informative one..featuring ALOHA products!

So, are you wondering what I am referring to? ALOHA is a company that provides products that promote health and happiness, and are made with high quality, simple ingredients.  The products are pure, the packaging is sustainable, and the overall vision of the company is truly inspiring.

The Aloha Philosphy:

We believe that the best nutrients come from whole foods, but even the most health conscious among us aren’t able to get everything our body needs from food alone. ALOHA provides the nutritional support you need to help maintain your already healthy lifestyle — plus a little nature-made oomph, just for good measure.

My mom has been using Aloha products for months now and has been RAVING about them, so when we got an email invite to visit the ALOHA showroom here in NYC to learn about their newest product, I knew that I had to check it out.  Let me tell you, I did not leave disappointed.

Upon entering the ALOHA offices (conveniently right down the street from my job at Pure Barre!), I immediately get a feel for the company.  The office has a lounge area right outside the elevator that is set up like a little Hawaiian tiki hut; inviting and relaxed.  To the right of the lounge I see an army of ALOHA staff at work in their cubicles.  I also see an open kitchen where some of the staff are mixing protein shakes specifically for myself and a few other attendees to sample.  To my left I spot this gorgeous table, showcasing all of the ALOHA products.  I was so impressed upon arriving, and even more impressed when I got to inspecting the table.

Currently, the company has protein powder, trail mix, coconut powder, nutrient packs, chocolate & daily greens.  However, the purpose of my visit that day was to be introduced to the newest product to launch in just a few weeks; protein bars! I absolutely LOVED that every product had the ingredients laid out for display.  I hate protein bars, as they usually are loaded with ingredients that I can’t pronounce, and I never feel great after eating them.  These protein bars, however, are simple, delicious and made with the highest quality ingredients.

Dark Chocolate Coconut Bars? YES.  Definitely my favorite of the bunch.

A favorite, favorite product of mine that I tried that day was the chocolate.  It’s dairy-free and made with 60% fair-trade cocoa, making it a fabulous snack that won’t derail your clean eating!

***- Sweetened only with mineral-rich coconut sugar, which is lower in glycemic index and therefore less likely to give you a kid-in-a-candy-store sugar high. There are no additional sugars, cane sugar, or artificial flavors.  P.S. the hazelnut and fig was out of this world.

Protein packets! These were included in our gift bag, and if you’re the type that is constantly on the go then these are ideal for you.   Although, beware, when just mixed with water these can taste kind of….earthy.  All 18g of protein are derived from organic sources such as hemp seeds, pumpkin seed, and peas.  There are no heavy metals or “natural” flavors in this protein! Soy, whey and rice-free, rich in magnesium, potassium and fiber – you can be sure that this protein is CLEAN on all accounts.  I enjoy mine best when made at home and thrown into a smoothie with fruits and vegetables.

ALOHA Daily Good Greens

Now THIS is something that I know I don’t see every day.  A way to incorporate greens into our drink just by pouring a packet.  To take directly from the ALOHA website:

“Moringa, spirulina, wild blueberries from Alaska? It can be exhausting, not to mention costly, trying to get high quality superfoods that your body needs daily. We make it easy and simple to get what you need (and more), all in one convenient pouch. The Daily Good Greens is an all-natural whole-foods powder that builds the bridge between what we should eat and what we actually eat. With 14 organically grown and wild-harvested whole foods, being healthy on-the-go has never been easier!”

I have really been loving these packets in my smoothies for an extra health boost!

Needless to say, after my amazing visit to Headquarters and all of the sampling of yummy products, I placed a huge order once I got home! The packaging on all of these products is so beautiful, and I love the company’s message of living healthy from the inside out.  Long Live Life!

ANOTHER amazing product that I sampled and fell in love with is the Coconut Water Powder.  I am generally not a fan of coconut waters on the market today, because they are waaaay too sweet for my liking.  This, however, tastes like it is straight from the coconut.  I’ve had it on its own with water, or in my coffee has a sweetener.  I really, really love it and am so excited to have some fun with this during the summer.

+    Contains more naturally occurring minerals and fiber than regular cane sugar!*

+    Coconut water comes from single-source coconuts grown in Thailand

+    Nothing but real-food nutrients maintained through a patented drying process.

ALOHA trail mix:

Cashews*, Almonds*, Goldenberries*, Sweet Cherries*, Raisins*, Goji Berries*, Mulberries*, Pumpkin Seeds*, Pistachios*

Ive been loving a handful of this to have at work – its sweet and crunchy and everything that a trail mix should be!

A tin of protein was absolutely necessary!

My own packets of Daily Good Greens!

What’s better than a delicious green smoothie on a hot summer day?

I obviously really fell in love with this company.  Just being in the presence of the staff, products, and environment of the company was enough to make me want to get on board.  With that said, I am happy to announce that The Fit Girls Dish is now an ALOHA ambassador! We only share products we are passionate about, and I am more than excited to share some moments on my ALOHA journey.
