Weber, MD, Gastroenterologist, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. He is a highly-trained and qualified gastroenterologist with a vast expertise in all facets of his work, including colonoscopy, gastroscopy,cryotherapy, ERCP, enteral stenting, treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases, peptic ulcer and GERD, and liver diseases. Dr. Weber has been practicing for over thirty years and is currently serving patients as Chief of Medicine and Director of Gastroenterology and Metabolic Support Services at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Western Regional Medical Center in Goodyear, Arizona. Prior to joining CTCA in 2009, he spent 30 years as a gastroenterologist in private practice in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, during which time Dr. Weber acted as the Medical Director of both the Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center Comprehensive Obesity Treatment Program and the West Allis Memorial Hospital Weight Loss Program.
Dr. Weber attended The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisconsin, and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1974. His postgraduate training includes his internal medicine internship and residency at the Georgetown Division of the District of Columbia General Hospital in Washington, DC, as well as his gastroenterology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Weber is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Diplomate of the American Board of Gastroenterology. In order to remain at the forefront of a challenging industry, he has active professional memberships and affiliations with a number of societies, including the American Medical Association, the Arizona Medical Society, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. An active participant in numerous research studies, Dr. Weber was named Best Doctor in Milwaukee by Shepard Publications and honored with the 2003 America’s Top Physicians Award through the Community Research Council of America. He credits his successful career to being intensely involved and always making patients come first. When he is not practicing, he dedicates to reading and hiking.
