The fashion community continues to embrace Irina Shayk and one of the latest gigs for the Russian bombshell (aside from starring in the Spring 2017 Alberta Ferretti campaign) includes being the face of Replay. She has appeared on the cover of Vogue Russia, Vogue Germany and Vogue Japan this year and tops it off by fronting Replay’s new #TouchIt advertising campaign. Photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, Irina and fellow beauties Joan Smalls and Stella Maxwell go topless, wearing nothing but the Italian brand’s denim.

Our forum members weren’t feeling it, however. “What was the point of paying a bucket of money to Mert & Marcus for a basic campaign with awful lighting? They got scammed,” laughed a disapproving Marc10 the moment the campaign dropped.
“Co-signed. What was their creative team thinking?” replied Street_a_Licious in agreement.
Sharing the same sentiments was Benn98, writing, “Despite pairing over-hyped models with an over-hyped duo, this still falls flat. They couldn’t disguise the cheap-looking denim. I think a lot of brands are still buying into M&M hoping they’d serve up some of their trademark glossy sexiness. Maybe it’s time to cut them off to see how dedicated they are to this new direction of theirs.”
Zoom wasn’t all too impressed either. “Makes you long for a simple Steven Meisel studio portrait. What a waste,” he stated in disbelief.
“It’s so basic I mean too basic,” declared an unsatisfied elle_gb.
“Not the most groundbreaking series of images I’ve seen but I do love that solo shot of Joan Smalls. She looks amazing here and so does Irina Shayk!” vogue28 surrendered.
Forum member happycandadian thought the girls looked fantastic too, echoing, “These three actually make a pretty kickass trio. Really complement each other’s looks very well.”
