HIT: Carolina Herrera

"So well put together and even the sections I don't normally associate with Carolina I could picture her wearing them herself. My favourite's the black and white. I really enjoy seeing her in interviews backstage and at the end — dressed in the clothing she designed." [gius]

"Lovely. Love the black and white ensembles." [pollyanna90]

"Absolutely stunning. She always delivers, so chic and no gimmicks. She is not overexposed and you can tell she cares about the design, not some cheap tricks." [dontbeadrag]

MISS: Proenza Schouler

"WOW!! So terribly passé! Feels really 2011, no? So heavy handed, so ugly, so try-hard! Really bad. Maybe one of their worst collections." [Creative]

"Such a sad, messy and heavy-handed Celine collection. I can't believe Phoebe [Philo] did that. Oh wait... it's Proenza." [perhydrol]

"These guys are hacks. They had their own thing going earlier in their careers, but once Phoebe Philo started at Celine, they really became such copycats. Plus, if you've ever seen their clothing in stores, it's always very clunky and chunky and heavy. Nothing ever feels effortless." [dior_couture1245]

HIT: Prabal Gurung

"I like it, I think that it needs to be seen in motion though the show was really powerful. He's just so good at dresses." [gossiping]

"I really liked it. It's so classy and just simply pretty. And that finale was so touching, I mean it was an honest, empowering statement." [perhydrol]

"Not bad." [liberty33r1b]

MISS: Oscar de la Renta

"How irrelevant, most of it looks ugly and cheap." [Nomar]

"Eww. It's like a cheap Armani Privé collection with bad fit. I find it to be too flashy for the ODLR clientele. I give them one more season and I expect them to be out by then." [rip_ian curtis]

"The first thought [that] came up to my mind was Raf at Dior. This collection doesn't have the finesse and elegance of ODLR. The fabric choices are what they would use at Monse which to me is just a cheap tactic to redesign some looks with edgier cutouts and flashy fabrics." [TaylorBinque]

HIT: Sies Marjan

"This is really one of the rare examples where the praise a label is enjoying is completely justified - albeit the fact other designers (namely Christian Wijnants) have done similar things, this is beautiful and charming." [tricotineacetat]

"I'm hashtag-shook. This is what I've been waiting to see! I love how fluid these clothes look even in still pictures - I can't wait to see what they'll look like in motion. And the color palette is like a cold drink on a hot day. Absolutely fantastic." [StoneSkipper]

"I'm really into this. Sies Marjan is the future." [apple]

MISS: Victoria Beckham

"The type of fashion that I absolutely hate. No identity, no point of view...Nothing. Just a bunch of clothes styled in a pretentious way to make it 'fashion'. What is VB's contribution to fashion? She has been doing this more than her previous career so I don't buy the celebrity thing anymore." [Lola701]

"I saw [a] few pictures on Instagram and I couldn't tell which designer it was. That's not a good sign, is it?" [Inlimbo]

"She's losing her voice and is becoming generic. Yes, everything is more or less nice, but not very distinctive VB anymore." [Nymphaea]

HIT: Christian Siriano

"So cool to see Alek Wek and Karolina Kurkova. He also has curvaceous models proving that making high fashion dresses on a larger body is possible (hopefully other designers pay note to that) and I like the color palette as well as the overall show: very very well done. Some dresses though felt like costumes at some level but they all look glamorous." [Bertrando3]

"Always love seeing KK on the runway. She closed the show in that gown and it looked so beautiful in motion, the shimmering colours really stun." [happycanadian]

MISS: Altuzarra

"At one point I thought I had mistakenly opened a Prada show. The lapels, the corsets, the floral wallpaper print, the gloves, the headbands, the jewelry, ugh." [dodencebt]

"The styling is awful. They are two working on it and they failed amazingly, Bravo Melanie and Vanessa. This collection leaves me cold. Nothing really appealing, the references are too obvious as usual with this guy and I still can't figure out who his customer is..." [GivenchyAddict]

"He tries to be Prada but doesn't know how to create cuts and silhouettes that make women's bodies flattering and jeez some prints are really ugly." [GreyVetiver]

HIT: Lacoste

"To my surprise I'm truly loving this..." [Vitamine W]

"Really fresh, good, wearable, desirable. It's a really great take on sportswear." [IloveDiorHomme]

"Although I don't vocalize it as often, Baptista has been doing a constantly decent job at Lacoste for some time now. He just presents his collection and flies under the radar. Which I quite like. Nice job!" [TheoG]

MISS: Jason Wu

"OMG, the poor version of the Balenciaga draped dresses... Could they be more heavy-handed? A really bad fashion student could do them in his first year and even better... Really terrible. If you are a bad designer the last thing you should try are drapés." [Creative]

"Totally forgettable." [perhydrol]

"A decade in fashion is the perfect time to reflect on your contribution to the industry. Unfortunately, those 10 years were unremarkable. He did great things for Michelle Obama but so few for his brand in terms of aesthetic." [Lola701]

HIT: Calvin Klein

"Hell, all I can say right now is welcome home, Raf." [dodencebt]

"Calvin is back. Raf seems energized and excited by the label and that can only be a boon to American fashion. Kudos Raf/CK!" [zoom]

"This collection was fantastic. It could have been edited in a more refined way and that set was quite bad, but finally I can say I am really interested in Calvin Klein clothes and collections. It's very American, but not in a Michael Kors-totally-pretty-and-boring-as-hell way." [perhydrol]

MISS: La Perla

"Wow so cheap and ugly. And pretentious cast and set made it look even worse. Who designed this? Philipp Plein, Paris Hilton or Beyoncé's mother?" [MagFan]

"OMG...the colours, the styling, the shoes, the setting...such hard work to make these pretty girls look cheap and horrible." [muglerette]

HIT: Brock Collection

"I love it. Brock has become one of my favorite NY shows in such a short amount of time." [kenndale]

"You know, this is kind of what I'd like to see more American designers produce: clean, modern, 'approachable' fashion without too many frills or fuss and a hint of Americana thrown in- the bright red, the denim, the little chequed dresses really represent that well without going into loud Tommy Hilfiger territory. It's a great collection, much tighter and better designed than anything Altuzarra has done in the past few seasons." [AnaD]

"It has hints of old school Carolina Herrera and Michael Kors! I like the cleanliness of it. It's borderline plain but it's still extremely beautiful! I understand why they won CFDA though!" [ToniOrtega]

MISS: Adam Selman

"Not even worth commenting [on] it. Unbearably boring and ugly. I guess dating Mel means you get to show at fashion week, because I can't think of another reason why this would need to be seen on a runway..." [TianCouture]

"I do like that it's very much him! He is slowly but surely stamping his own aesthetic with this punk-ish, street Americana vibe. This didn't need a show because frankly, NYFW is so overcrowded already, and this doesn't necessarily contribute any new ideas about fashion." [ToniOrtega]

"His denim is undeniable, for that it's worth it. Others are also pretty nice offering. It'd be better if there's some little motif going on in each look to make it more theme like, more packaged up." [Pricciao]

MISS: Alexander Wang

"A piss poor collection, drab, boring and dull." [disco54]

"Pretty sure this was just another excuse for him to throw another after-party. A complete waste of runway space." [RedSmokeRise]

"Man, it's astonishing how much he has given up. This was literally a bunch of his old collections (F/W 08, 09, 12 + a bit of his Balenciaga) thrown in together. Zero design, pure styling. Sadly he jumped on the Vetements bandwagon, where a 'vibe' and aesthetic are more important than, you know, clothes." [Marc10]

MISS: Kendall + Kylie

"What's New York about it? Shot in LA with LA's mandatory styling by LA's worst gift to the world." [MulletProof]

"Nothing, but there's a time and place for it. It's sometimes quite inappropriate. This is a joke collection though, it looks like they just styled someone's staple wardrobe." [AnaD]

"This collection makes me roll my eyes- I agree with the H&M and Zara comments. It's almost offensive to see their label mixed among other great designers who have a unique view and pour their heart and soul into their work." [EccentricMode]
