Sometimes the SAG Awards gets a bum rap because it doesn’t draw the prestige of say, the Golden Globes or the Oscars on the fashion front. But this year’s edition of the star-studded ceremony really delivered when it came to style with variety being a running theme. You had those attendees who took a slightly goth turn, favoring everything from black gowns to moody makeup. Then there were the celebs outfitted in stripes, ranging from mixed metallics to candy-colored. Perhaps inspired by trailblazer Evan Rachel Wood, quite a few ladies rocked suits, jumpsuits or pant sets on last night’s red carpet (all with a special twist). Statement jewelry was trending with the outrageous bling occasionally outshining the dresses and shades of pink also proved popular. And leave it to Nicole Kidman to have everyone talking (and all the Monday morning fashion police debating) about her glistening parrot-sleeve Gucci gown. For all the red carpet style highlights, check out the slideshow above.
