People pretty much did their own thing when it came to fashion at last night’s People’s Choice Awards. Seriously, there wasn’t really a sartorial theme to be had as attendees took style cues from a variety of sources, whether it involved plenty of embellishments to try and attract attention to a colorful suit sans shirt to turn heads or golden lamé pieces referencing (intentionally or not) the disco era. We did spot a few stars embracing black, including pieces more apropos for the bedroom than the red carpet. While showing significant skin was still trending (and probably always will be), we couldn’t help but notice that a decidedly minimal amount of celebs opted to go extremely sheer, which may be a signal that the see-through movement has finally started to falter. For all the red carpet highs and lows, check out the star-packed slideshow above.
