Happy Friday, my loves! While I’m sitting here scrolling through today’s pictures, I realize how long it is ago since I shared the last “classic” outfit post from here in Switzerland. And even today’s look is quite an “old” one as we took these pictures more than a month ago. Oh dear, it feels like time is running even faster if you have the amazing opportunity to travel to new places so often and you want to capture all the beauty of a foreign city in pictures. But hey, let’s bring in some variety with a typical Michele-Casual-Look from Switzerland.
It might be weeks ago, since I actually had this exact look on, but I remember the cool, grey winter day and how quickly my mood changed when I put on my good-mood-jacket with the rainbow on its back (you may know it from this and this outfit) like it was only yesterday. Do you also have these kind of garments which just put a smile on your face by wearing it? Beside the cool jacket I went for a trend that has been my favorite during the last winter season: the turtleneck-under-shirt-combo. While doing so, it immediately reminded me why I used to love it so much. It looks extremely stylish + it keeps you extremely warm too.
And just to keep you updated about my personal life as well: Yesterday, Joy and I were invited to the opening of the Burberry boutique in Geneva and I was appareled with the coolest total look ever. Some of you probably already spotted the patterned clothes, the killer high heels and the dream bag in my Instagram Stories – the others will surely see some of the pieces on the blog soon.
Apropos, while this post is coming online (at 8am as always) I’m sitting in the train back to Zurich in order to arrive more or less in time for my studies. We got “home” to our fabulous hotel in Geneva, the La Reserve, around midnight and got up again around 4. So, yeah man, life is good ;)
Einen frohen Freitag allerseits! Während ich so hier sitze und durch die heutigen Bilder scrolle, wird mir bewusst, dass eigentlich schon eine ganze Weile kein klassischer Outfitpost von hier aus Zürich mehr online ging. Und auch der heutige Look, dürfte schon mehr als einen Monat «alt» sein. Huiuiui, wie die Zeit einfach vergeht, wenn man die Chance hat, immer wieder – wenn auch meist nur kurz – an neue Orte zu reisen und es sich natürlich nicht nehmen lassen will, die Atmosphäre der fremden Stadt bildlich einzufangen. Zur Abwechslung dürfte es allerdings auch wieder einmal ein klassischer Michèle-Casual-Look aus der Schweiz tun, oder?
Es mag zwar schon Wochen her sein, als ich diesen Look ausführte, ich kann mich allerdings noch gut an den kühlen, grauen Wintertag erinnern und wie sich meine Stimmung schlagartig verbesserte, als ich mir meine Gute-Laune-Jacke mit dem Regenbogen auf dem Rücken überstreifte, die ihr schon aus diesem und diesem Outfit kennt. Habt ihr auch solche Kleidungsstücke, in denen ihr Dazu habe ich mich an meinem Lieblingstrend des letzten Winters inspirieren lassen und die Rollkragen-unter-Hemd-Kombi, die ich damals so oft trug, wieder aufleben lassen. Dabei habe ich auch schnell wieder gemerkt, warum ich so begeistert davon war: Es sieht nicht nur extrem stylisch aus, sondern hält auch extrem warm.
Und um jetzt doch auch noch ein paar persönliche beziehungsweise aktuelle Updates loszuwerden: Gestern ging es für mich mit Joy nach Genf, zur Eröffnung der Burberry Boutique, für die ich mit einem wahnsinnig tollen Total Look ausgestattet wurde. Der eine oder andere dürfte die gemusterten Kleider, die mörderisch hohen Sandalen und die Traumtasche bereits auf Instagram Stories gesehen haben – die anderen, werden es sicherlich bald hier auf dem Blog bestaunen können.
Übrigens, während dieser Post online kommt (wie immer um 8 Uhr), sitze ich gerade im Zug zurück nach Zürich, um mehr oder weniger pünktlich direkt ins Studium zu springen. Gestern kamen wir um Mitternacht «Nachhause» in unser wunderbares Hotel in Genf – das La La Reserve – und heute klingelte um ca. 4 Uhr schon wieder der Wecker. Ja man, läuft bei mir ;)
