After three weeks of constant rain I almost forgot how the actually sun looks like and how warm sunbeams feel on my skin. But then, punctual for the 21st of June, the official beginning of summer, the sun finally clawed back its place at the sky and it really was about time!
Thinking about the summer and the sun, the festival season isn’t far away anymore and after the perfect festival hairstyle I already shared over here, I probably also felt inspired for todays outfit which indeed serves some festival and 60s vibes but manages to stay urban at the same time – and for the brave ones of you even suitable for daily use.
So, after starting quite small talk like with the weather topic, let me tell you about my last two wild days just quickly before I fall into the hotel room bed, because my anticipations form this post came true. Thirteen hours on set, more than 30 degrees temperature and almost no wind, a 15-member team and a huge chaos in my flat – who watched it on Snapchat (@fashionfraction)? My more or less elegant fall has also been recorded well. Well, that’s what happens if you give your very best and jump around like a ninja if the photographer wants you to do so. You even get punishment for it. ;) But in the end it was all worth it if the pictures and the video turned out amazing in the end. Hereof I’m very though in general as I realized after this shooting in incredibly cold glacial water. Brrr.
Although yesterday, so the day after the big shooting, I indulged myself with a flight to Vienna at only 10.25 – I immediately fell asleep in the airplane and woke up with my head on the shoulders of my unknown seatmate. Whoopsie, that was embarrassing. Right now my eyes are so heavy that I just can’t keep them open for any longer, so before some more embarrassing things happen, I just hit the sack. We see us again in two days for a different kind of post ;)
Beinahe hätte ich vergessen, wie Sonne aussieht und wie sich die warmen Sonnenstrahlen auf der Haut anfühlen – nach den vergangenen drei Wochen Dauerregen ist das auch kein Wunder. Doch pünktlich auf 21. Juni, Sommeranfang, hat die Sonne es geschafft ihren Platz am Himmel zurückzuerkämpfen. Wurde aber auch Zeit!
Und wenn wir schon bei Sommer und Sonne sind, dann ist die Festival Saison gar nicht mehr weit. Nachdem ich mit euch hier schonen meinen liebsten Hairstyle für Festivals gezeigt habe, fühlte ich mich jetzt wohl zu dem heutigen Outfit inspiriert, das doch sehr festivalmässig und ein bisschen 60s daherkommt, aber dabei diesen Spagat macht, trotzdem urban – und für Modemutigere, auch alltagstauglich – zu bleiben.
So, und um jetzt nicht bloss smalltalk-like übers Wetter zu quasseln, erzähle ich euch vor dem Ins-Bett-Gehen noch kurz von meinen wilden letzen zwei Tagen, denn meine Vorahnungen vom letzten Post waren am Ende dann doch ziemlich treffend. Dreizehn Stunden auf dem Set bei über 30 Grad und kaum Wind, mit einem fünfzehnköpfigen Team und grossem Chaos in meiner Wohnung – wer hats auf Snapchat verfolgt (@fashionfraction)? Mein mehr oder weniger eleganter Sturz wurde da auch wunderbar festgehalten. Tja, das passiert wenn man vollen Einsatz gibt und wie ein Ninja durch die Luft spring, wenn es der Fotograf so möchte. Man wird auch noch bestraft. ;) Aber das alles hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt, wenn die Bilder schlussendlich toll werden. Da bin ich ein echt harter Hund, wie ich nach spätestens diesem Shooting im Gletscherwasser(!) selber gemerkt habe.
Obwohl ich mir dann gestern, also am Tag nach dem langen Dreh, den Flug auf Wien so buchen lassen habe, dass ich ausnahmsweise mal nicht um 6 Uhr aufstehen musste – bin ich im Flieger tatsächlich eingepennt und mit dem Kopf an meine mir unbekannte Sitznachbarin angelehnt aufgewacht. Peinlich! So, und jetzt fallen mir schon wieder die Äuglein zu, deshalb haue ich mich jetzt ins Bett, bevor noch weiter Peinlichkeiten passieren.
