For those that don’t know by now, I am currently the Perth City Fashion Ambassador and Blogger so this year at the Telstra Perth Fashion Festival (TPFF) I was mostly focusing on and enjoying the Perth city retailer runways at Fashion Central in Forrest Place.

And thankfully so as there’s nothing more exciting (and enticing) to me than seeing the current ready-to-wear designers and retailers showcase their seasonal collections on the runway, and then for me to be able to shop the look straight away thereafter.

My personal favourite looks came from Anna Thomas and Rhodes & Beckett at Brookfield Place; Decjuba, David Lawrence and Herringbone at Enex100; Pigeonhole, Live Clothing, Jay Jays and Myer at Forrest Chase; Melissa Shoes Australia and I was beyond impressed with Target Australia’s latest spring summer range too, namely the Rachael Zheng for Target range.

From the chic array of spring summer separates to the cool catch phrase printed tees, I thoroughly enjoyed each and every piece that hit the runway as they were all so wearable and equally as easy to build upon each look that was presented too…

Standouts for me were anything with a cute print, casual white pants, denim – all things denim for me this season, bold and edgy shoes, sleek accessories plus statement dresses.

The three days at Fashion Central were incredible but come Sunday and it wasn’t just about the garments as brand ambassador for Target Australia, Jessica Mauboy, literally rocked the runway.

And she looked fantastic in a slim fitting Target Australia LBD teamed with what looked like to be rather comfortable strappy T-bar heels whilst she actively performed and got the crowd pumping at the retail giant’s TPFF showcase with members of the audience joining in with her on stage to dance and also take over the microphone.

It was a crowd pleasing performance that ended the weekend of free to the public runways on a high note for me (no pun intended) with an eye-catching collection that is not just suitable for the whole family, but rather is suitable for the fashion forward girl on a budget too as local fashion bloggers such as Rayne Embley, Adelle Cousins and Marnie Stella (just to name a few) dressed themselves head-to-toe in total support.

To see more of my favourite looks (including all of the great men’s wear looks that I haven’t mentioned above) from the TPFF 2015 Fashion Central, free to the public, runways, head on over to my blog post on the Perth City Fashion website here.
