Shearing Gang - Season 2 [PDTV (DivX)]

Every year two million merino ewes are shorn during New Zealand's pre-lamb season.

Shearing Gang is a colourful character-driven factual series that goes behind the scenes to reveal the tensions, humour, pressures and expertise of New Zealand’s premiere shearing gangs, all set against some of our most jaw-dropping beautiful landscapes.

s02e01 - Peter Lyon, ‘Shearing Mogul’, employs around 220 people. This week on the Nokomai Station 21,000 merino-cross ewes need to be shorn in 10 days by 10 shearers.

s02e02 - The latest job for Peter Lyon's gang gets off to a rocky start when Marcia leads a revolt by the wool handlers. And it's not helped when newbie rousie Rachel attracts the wrath of old school Sharon.

s02e03 - Shearing boss Peter has an emergency when a gang decides not to shear and walks off the job. Meanwhile at Cecil Peak, Juddy tries his hand at creating merino lingerie for his favourite rousie.

s02e04 - When wet sheep cause a shearer to walk off the job, and the dentist takes out another, shearing boss Peter Lyon is left struggling to find replacements. And the season is also taking its toll on cancer survivor, shearer Kelly Kristie.

s02e05 - 2000 monster merino sheep in just three days? It's time for boss man Peter Lyon to step into the shed.

s02e06 - Peter Lyon's schedule comes under threat when ace shearer Mouse O'Neil uses the Lake Hawea shear to practice for a shearing challenge in Australia, and slows everyone down.

s02e07 - Lead wool handler Boy leads a crack team but when a run-away turkey distracts the team, all bets are off that the gang will finish the shear on schedule.

s02e08 - Just when the rain-interrupted Otamatapaio shear has got back under way, boss Peter Lyon is left reeling when his lead shearer leaves and the wool press breaks down.

s02e09 - First year shearers, Cody and Logan, hatch a plan to impress Pete so he will re-employ them next season

s02e10 - The climax of the pre-lamb season provides nerves and surprises as Peter Lyon's junior rousies strut their stuff at the annual NZ Merino Champs.
