It’s a big day here in our country. Albeit, not as big as tomorrow, but it still feels like a day where we are all taking a deep anxious breath before the drama that will undoubtedly be this second Tuesday of the month in November. Don’t worry. I’m not about to tell you who to vote for or who I am voting for. It’s not that I don’t feel passionately about the issue. In fact, I feel so passionately about the candidate I am voting for. Here’s what I will say, that if you are of voting age here in the United States, I sincerely hope that you vote tomorrow. It’s an important one. Two candidates have maybe never been more opposite in character and policy. You can’t have a government for the people and by the people if the people toss up their hands and say I don’t want to vote for either. So do it, friends. There’s obviously the oval office on the line, but there’s so much more, too. There are senate seats and house seats and local issues that concern education and traffic and business in your individual communities, so let’s read up today and go make our voices heard tomorrow. And, at the end of the day, however the chips may fall, let us not forget that we are still more alike than we are unlike.
