Essex Wedding Photographers, Down Hall.
Happy New Year! Ok, I know it’s 22nd January, but it’s been a VERY busy few weeks here (all to be revealed in our next post)
Our second wedding in as many weeks at the stunning Down Hall found us once again working with the awesome team at Rideout Films (who by the way have just won the NATIONAL wedding industry award for 2014, and after completing my very own wedding film, I’m not surprised) and the ever-amazing Lovelight Entertainment. The day itself was perfect, warm (for January) and nice and bright.. perfect for Wedding photography. Julie and Nick actually got married in the stunning Church in Hatfield Broad Oak. I had worked there once before, and have been looking forward to going back.
I had a second shooter with me on the day, Amanda has worked with a few times now, and it’s always nice to have her onboard, mainly because while I’m off doing the shots of the bride and groom, she is in getting all of the detail shots and candid guests shots; Priceless on the bigger weddings.
Julie is a keen horse rider, and has already booked in for a post-wedding shot so we can do some shots of her and Nick on their horses in the Dress and Suit respectively. Julie had arranged for the horses to arrive for a few images during the drink reception, but I wasn’t prepared for what happened next. She looked at me and said “shall I get on?!?” and in the space of a few seconds, she had jumped on and proceeded to trot around Down Hall, making for some great images!
I can’t wait for the Post-wedding shoot!!
