A new research report predicts the revenue Chinese drone makers generate in 10 years to exceed 75 billion Yuan ($11.5 Billion).
Chinese companies own the world-wide drone market. DJI alone has about 70% marketshare in camera drones world-wide. iResearch estimates the total market revenue of Chinese drone makers to reach 75 billion Yuan ($11.5 Billion) in 2025.
This number is comprised by 30 billion Yuan generated by aerial photography drones. Civilian drones in the agriculture, forestry and plant protection, security and power inspection are predicted to generate 20 billion, 15 billion and 5 billion Yuan respectively. The research firm does not include military drones in their drone market forecast.
