Agie Bytyqi is the proprietor of Toscana in Dun Laoghaire since 2001. Having come to Ireland on a family holiday the year before he and his wife fell in love with Dun Laoghaire and decided this is where they wanted to open a restaurant.

Toscana has since gone on to become one of the most popular Italian restaurants in Dublin. Agie is a native of Yugoslavia and trained in Grindlewald in the Jungfreu region of Switzerland. He subsequently worked in some of the best restaurants in Europe. Prior to setting up Toscana he was working in the very trendy restaurant and wine bar Shampers in London.
