We are delighted to announce the return of the most anticipated food festival of the summer months- Taste of Dublin 2015! The foodie event of the year is celebrating “10 Years of Taste” and they have an unbeatable line up of activity over the weekend to mark the occasion. The event will run from Thursday, 11th June- Sunday 14th June. Due to popular demand the festival will open at the earlier time of 12pm on Thursday, 11th June.

JUNE CELEBRATING ‘10 YEARS OF TASTE’

For 10 years, the Taste of Dublin festival has played a vital role in progressing Dublin’s food revolution, showcasing the range of eclectic restaurants, producers and chefs that make up the city’s vibrant culinary scene. On this its 10th birthday, the festival returns to the beautiful Iveagh Gardens for an unbeatable line up of events with renowned home grown and international chefs. The Taste of Dublin Festival has become a much anticipated date in the social diary, so from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th June, join in the 10th birthday celebrations at the Taste of Dublin festival in the heart of the city for the foodie event of the year!

Taste of Dublin has truly contributed to the city’s flourishing food scene. Through one to one Q&A’s, live interactive cooking demos with Michelin starred chefs, taster plates from a melting pot of cuisines and boutique food and drink stalls hosted by artisan producers- this festival is a one stop shop for all foodie fanatics looking to excite their taste buds.

To mark ‘10 Years of Taste’, Taste of Dublin will present the Icon Of Taste Award 2015 to internationally recognised, multi award winning Irish Chef Richard Corrigan for his pioneering work championing quality Irish produce and ingredients.The previous inaugural winner of the award was the culinary matriarch Myrtle Allen. Exclusively at Taste this year, Chef Richard will host a cooking demonstration in the Electrolux Taste Theatre followed by an opportunity for a Q&A session with this iconic chef.

Electrolux returns once again as headline sponsor of Taste of Dublin 2015. The Electrolux Taste Theatre will host an array of world class chefs showcasing their culinary skills. The Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets will be offering visitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with culinary legends in an interactive cooking demonstration, and returning for its second year, The Electrolux Secret Ingredient will offersensory experience involving sound, smell, touch and taste to find out the key ingredient that gives dishes their special flavour.

Electrolux Taste Theatre – Interactive cooking demos led by Michelin starred chefs that allow visitors to pick up cooking skills, discover secret ingredients and cooking methods from Taste of Dublin’s star chefs
Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets – Where visitors can give their culinary skills a workout and master new cooking techniques on the inspirational range of home appliances from Electrolux with cooking demonstrations from guest chefs
Electrolux Secret Ingredient – A sensory experience involving sound, smell, touch and taste to find out the key ingredient that gives dishes their special flavour. The Secret Ingredient sessions run hourly, places are limited and on a first come first served basis, so sign up early!
The Sony Japanese Dining Experience- Learn the art of sushi from the experts, who will be sharing some of their secrets in the art of sushi in special master classes at Taste of Dublin
Nespresso Coffee Connoisseur Tasting- Michelin starred chef Kevin Thornton along with Nespresso Grand Crus Expert Jonathon Sims will host a Nespresso Coffee and Food Pairing Connoisseur demonstration. A taste of the exclusive Nespresso Club Member events for visitors to Taste of Dublin
Chef Skillery- Sponsored by the National Dairy Council, an exclusive opportunity for attendees to have a one to one Q&A session with the Taste chefs and other industry professionals
Chapter One and Barry’s Tea - Partnering up with Chapter One, Barry’s Tea will work with Michelin starred chef Ross Lewis to create an indulgent menu of Barry’s Tea inspired desserts and treats. Showcasing the Barry’s Tea collection and it’s exquisite flavours, Taste visitors will get the opportunity to experience Tea as they have never seen it and to sample some exquisite Chapter One dessert creations
Station Works Brewery – Showcasing their very own Station Works Brews at Taste of Dublin which will give people an opportunity to taste their real ale casks not available anywhere else in Ireland

Rioja Tapas Fantastica – Complemented by wines from the Rioja region, the Taste Tapas areas will bring a little taste of Spain to visitor’s palates
Roving Waiters -This year for the first time ever at Taste, JUST EAT will offer an exclusive waiter service to the Festival, enabling those attending to spend more time exploring and less time queuing! JUST EAT is all about making life easier for its customers, so in true JUST EAT style, waiters on site will take your florins and queue for food and drinks on your behalf, delivering it back to you faster than you can say #minifistpump!
Kentucky Branch Bar – A bar specialising in select Kentucky bourbon. Experts will hold tasting sessions demonstrating the variety of this regional liquor.
#TasteStyle -Turns up the heat this year with a fantastic line up of judges who will be on the lookout for the festival’s Most Stylish Lady.
Taste Of Thailand -The festival favourite returns offering visitors a Thai experience from delicious dishes and traditional dance displays to Thai massage. This year visitors will be able to taste the innovative Thai dishes by Saba’s Chef Taweesak Trakoolwattana
Aldi – Aldi will be back at Taste of Dublin 2015 bigger and better than ever as the exclusive retail partner
Icing On The Cake -The ‘Ice Off’ challenge is on! Culinary fun and interactive workshops for parents and kids to enjoy together
O’Brien’s Wine Experience -O’Briens have been involved in Taste of Dublin since the very first event and this year the O’Briens Wine Bar present a wonderful range of wines to perfectly pair with the fantastic dishes available from the Taste restaurants.
