Ely gastro bar & restaurant has totally renovated its downstairs dining area to create a bright, buzzy and fresh space that reflects the landscape of our organic farm in The Burren, Co. Clare. There is a sense of theatre from the new open-plan kitchen.

Come and try the latest seasonal changes to our latest menus which includes refreshingly healthy starters such as our chargrilled peach salad. Sharing plates are a big feature on the menus such as 16 hour slow roast organic Jacobs lamb or Seafood Paella served straight out of the skillet, all cooked with love and all designed to share.

We’re not just focusing on our foodie customers! We have a brand new bar and lounge, perfect for showcasing our brilliant range of craft beers and cocktails. Our brilliant new bar can also cater for private parties and corporate receptions! Additionally, we now have over 35 craft beers to choose from. If this doesn’t “wheat” your appetite, we are proud to be one of the few venues in Dublin to offer gluten free beer and a number of non-alcoholic beers. Our children’s menu is full of the kids favourites but cooked exactly the way the food would be prepared for the adult menu. Instead of the usual frozen option, our catch of the day is just that, the day’s fresh fillet from Irish shores which can be served with mash or our very own hand-cut chunky chips. All the beef, pork and lamb in our children’s menu is sourced through our  organic family farm in the Burren, Co.Clare. Our little people’s bangers & mash dish is especially made for them from our very own pure pork, parsley, garlic, ginger, pepper and is made using a natural casing. Our chefs, always conscious of keeping our little people’s menu as healthy as possible don’t use salt when cooking, however there is salt on our chips/mash.
Our homemade ely ice-cream and sweets are always eyed enviously by Mum and Dad.
Little peoples menus will always be available at ely gastro pub, where our future customers are most welcome.
At ely our menus always reflect the best of fresh, local, seasonal and organic produce where possible.
