For my first contribution to The Diary Issue I would like to share my favorite Jewelry Boutique in Paris.
Located in the heart of a neighborhood favorite, St. Germain, is a perfectly curated shop full of eyecandy.
Bohemian and colourful shop owner Karine Hourtoule opened the doors of Baby Buddha after she spent time traveling the globe. She has put together a pretty impressive collection of magical and modern jewelry. An eclectic mix of fine jewelry and bijoux, South American handwork, American Indian silver, turquoise and the most amazing French designers I know.
You will see a resemblance to my own line Scout & Jem as I think we may have a similar philosophy towards how to wear jewelry. Precious stones mixed with textile, diamonds and gold and throw on a handmade friendship bracelet. Anything goes.
Some of my favorites sold here are the amazing jewels from Brooke Gregson, the colourful and whimsical collections of Aurelie Biderman, Jade Jagger, and Pascale Monvoisin. And for me the ultimate in perfection in layering, Jacquie Aiche and JATribe. At Baby Buddha you will find amazing handmade bags by Delphine Delafon and perfect beach pouches from Deszo by Sara Beltran. Definately worth while taking a look next time your in Paris!!!
