Introducing, Bumble Boost. After hinting away, Bumble has stepped up to the plate in monetizing its product. The ever popular girl-dominated dating app is offering a Bumble Boost subscription to users for three new features at $9.99 a month: Beeline, Rematch and Busy Bee.
Here, we break them down for you.
Beeline
Beeline pre-populates a queue of users who have already swiped right to you (woohoo), so you can skip swiping and match with them. While this takes away the traditional swipe-tastic fun of online dating apps, it makes the process a lot more time efficient.
Rematch
Rematch allows you to keep expired matches in your queue after the 24-hour time limit Bumble allows if there is no conversation to be had. This way, if you miss your window of opportunity, you can always follow up with a rematch!
Busy Bee
Busy Bee lets you extend that 24-hour window so that you have yet another day to potentially match with someone. This was previously available for men in the ‘extend’ function where they had the option to add more time for women to swipe right – it will now be offered to both male and female users for the first time.
Bumble is known to curate their consumer experience to a tee, a prime example being its refusal to feature any sponsored advertising to the platform. All features are optional additions to your Bumble experience – so don’t worry if you don’t have the short change – the right person is still a right swipe away!
