The new, improved Imogen is determined not to fall for the charms of another work colleague, but can she really resist temptation? After a year in the El Rican embassy Dan is bored, depressed and has no hope of getting out - his only chance is to push his case in an interview with the Guardian.

8.00pm The Secret Life of 4 Year Olds Channel 4 - One-off observational documentary that takes viewers inside the world of ten four-year-olds as they meet in a nursery. But this nursery is rigged with cameras to capture every glance, ever whisper, every tussle, and all the raw emotion as these children take their first tentative steps towards independence in a world without parents, providing a unique insight into this pivotal stage of childhood. With their parents watching everything close by on monitors, the ten children encounter one another for the first time in October and they meet again in May. Scooters are fought over. Beads are shared. Allegiances are formed and tears are shed.
9.00pm The Gift BBC1 - Matt Baker and Mel Giedroyc follow the extraordinary and heart-warming stories of people who missed the chance to say 'thank you' or 'sorry' when it mattered most. In 1987, soldier Patrick Provis was left fighting for his life after being hit by an IRA mortar. Facing extraordinary dangers, an army helicopter flew in to rescue him and, against the odds, Patrick survived. Now desperate to draw a line under the trauma that continues to haunt him, Patrick cannot rest until he has thanked the person who took the decision to rescue him. Grace Bates has spent nearly 60 years desperate to apologise to Hermann, the first man she ever loved. They met as teenagers in the 1950s, but a terrible mistake by Grace left Hermann heartbroken and he emigrated to America. Now in her 70s, Grace is more determined than ever to find Hermann, but time is running out. But even if Mel does find Hermann, how will he feel about Grace reappearing in his life, and will he accept her apology?
9.00pm Young War Widows ITV - A portrait of three young women whose soldier husbands were killed fighting for their country in the recent war in Afghanistan. The film goes behind the public images of war widows as Sam, Victoria and Nikki tell their stories in their own words. From first dates and falling in love, to getting married and life as a military wife, to the final goodbye and the homecoming every soldier's wife dreads - repatriation at RAF Lyneham.

10.00pm Kid Criminals Channel 4 - Two-part documentary that explores some of the highest-security juvenile prisons in the US and meets the child inmates who have committed shocking crimes. Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility is at the forefront of a new philosophy in juvenile justice that emphasises treatment over punishment. There are currently 150 juveniles in Pendleton serving sentences for crimes which include battery, armed robbery, arson and murder. This episode focuses on C complex: the sex offenders considered the lowest on the pecking order at Pendleton, who are nicknamed 'Chomos' by the other inmates.
10.00pm Uncle BBC3 - Series 2 of the comedy. It's been a year, and Errol can't pluck up the courage to ask Ben to drop the restraining order. Sam, now a therapist, is flummoxed by her new client and Andy, stuck in a dead-end job, hasn't written a song this whole time. Andy and Errol have to sneak around just to spend time together. Can they help each other conquer their fears and get unblocked? Or will the demons of old leave them permanently stuck?

8.00pm The Great Comic Relief Bake Off BBC1 - The Great British Bake Off returns with four special Comic Relief programmes. In each episode four different celebrities battle it out in the Bake Off tent in an attempt to raise money for Comic Relief - and to win the coveted Comic Relief Star Baker apron. Sue Perkins presents the opening episode. The first brave celebrities to enter the Bake Off Tent are four of the most iconic figures in British entertainment, and they must take on three challenges set by Mary and Paul.
9.00pm Can You Cure My Cancer? BBC1 - Panorama reports on the cancer patients who are pioneering a new generation of drug treatments. Patients given just months to live are keeping the disease at bay for years; for some there is even talk of a cure. More than one in three of us will develop cancer, but huge advances in genetics are transforming our understanding of the disease and how to combat it. Panorama was given unprecedented access to trials at the Royal Marsden and Institute of Cancer Research and talked to patients old and young as well as their families and medical teams.

9.00pm An Idiot's Guide to Politics BBC3 - Comedian Jolyon Rubinstein is on a mission. He wants to find out why the Facebook generation is so disengaged from politics. With the general election just around the corner, according to a recent survey less than a quarter of under 25s plan to vote. Is this just apathy and ignorance? Or is something else going on? The film is packed with stunts, pranks and some pretty serious interviews in which Jolyon seeks to find the answers.
9.00pm Tiny House Nation More4 - Renovation experts and hosts John Weisbarth and Zack Giffin travel across the United States showing off ingenious small dwelling spaces and the inventive people who live in them in US home design show Tiny House Nation. They also help families to design and construct their own new mini-dream homes in a space no larger than 500 square feet.

This week John explores Britain's longest canal, the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, and barges his way successfully across the Pennines. Along the way, he gets measured up for a suit in Leeds, spat at by an alpaca and tries to outwit a competitive lock woman.
